GREAT chips & salsa! Fresh homemade taste can't be beat. Can't wait to try out many items on the menu as the delicious smells from the kitchen are amazing. The owner is very friendly and his staff are great with customers. We found this place by accident because we had a flat tire, but we really enjoyed our visit and definitely will be back.

Was craving a burrito. Came here on my lunch break. Ordered an asada Jr Burrito. Flavor was ok, a bit bland. I asked for a spicier salsa since the one that comes with the chips tasted like tomato sauce. it satisfied my burrito craving, but will probably not come back.
Service was good, atmosphere & cleanliness was good :)

There are many good Mexican spots in the area but Mexican Riviera stands out for outstanding flavorful food, reasonable prices, large portions and friendly service. The menu has all the traditional favorites and people love the loaded burritos and combination plates. The interior is cozy and comfortable and has a classic vibe that says its a family place and it has been there serving all the happy locals for a long time. The location is a shopping center at Anza and PCH with Ross.

The food is pretty good and they are very attentive to the tables but not many people in there so atmosphere is a little bit more private. Can’t find menus on website so I provided pictures.(new as of June of 2025)

I absolutely love this little restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh. Tastes like homemade. The chips and salsa are the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The chips comes out warm and crispy. Service is great and the menu has something for everyone looking for a homemade and authentic dish. I found this place because of a radio dj on kroq back in 2020 during the pandemic season. I made it a point to drive 38 miles out to try it because of that dj talking about it. I tell everyone about this place. Stop in and you won't regret it. One bite and you'll be a fan for life. Cheers!!
This long time location is ran by a very nice couple. Very good food, great chips and salsa complimentary. A mixture of economic and not so economic plates. Have been going there for many years.
Great Mexican-American menu. Good food. Good service!
I have tried it several times. Can’t seem to get a good tasting dish.

Great Mexican choices. Don't overeat the free Corn chips and Salsa or you won't want to eat anything else. Pitchers of Margaritas are a must
