I opted for Norms catering for a birthday party, and the food was delicious. There was plenty to satisfy 8-10 hungry teens. However, when I arrived to pick up the order, the delivery wasn't ready or started, causing a 20-minute delay. Despite the hiccup, we managed to make it work.

If only the manager had been aware that the worker would no longer be present. I had to procure my own silverware, napkins, Tabasco sauce, ketchup, and menu. My drink didn't arrive until after the food was served. There was no offer for a refill. When I mentioned the pancakes were cold enough not to melt the butter, there was no response. I had to track down the waitress just to place our order. I won't be returning to that location.

Always busy. Open on HOLIDAYS!!!?SENIOR DISCOUNT is really hard to get. Was there this morning around 10:30 AMCashier says that they don't take Auto Club as a discount anymore. And, if you are a SENIOR, there are CERTAIN TIME'S that one can apply that SENIOR DISCOUNT ????.24/7 SENIOR DISCOUNT RATES SHOULD BE THE RULE EVERYWHERE!!! WE EARNED IT!!!! ?????☝️??

This is notoriously a very busy place unless you happen to go in the wee hours of the morning has been my experience in so far. The food is good, portions are fair, and the place is clean. In the several times that I have gone it has been pretty loud, a bit too much stimulation for me especially in the mornings, and I've had trouble with my food being undercooked at previous visits. This time, I went with my son and we had a pretty good experience with our server and our food was to our liking. Prices are about average for our region and for the food that we ordered.It is super close to where we live, but we tend to avoid it because of how loud and busy it gets which means it's difficult to hear each other when we talk oftentimes.I'd recommend it if you want a fairly quick place to eat a sit-down meal. I'm sure it's a much more quiet setting late at night.Parking: The parking lot can be a bit full, but there is plenty!

WHATEVER YOU DO!!!! Do NOT try ANY of Norm's steaks (t-bone, New York, Porterhouse) it is all a big yuck! Dined there on Sunday and had terrible service from Pablo, a waiter. He literally cleaned up the table next to us, still full of guests; pulled out his order booklet to give us our bill; and PLACED A STACK OF DIRTY DISHES FROM THE NEXT TABLE NEXT TO MY PLATE. I gave him a look and he quickly removed the plates. The dishes literally had t-bones chewed down to the bone, and other remnants and left overs from our dear neighboring guests. The Porterhouse steak had nothing but gristle and cartilage, completely inedible from about 80% of the serving. My partner had to leave most of it on the plate, probably plopped down on the table next to us when Pablo gave a new bill. The New York strip "steak" was inedible too, and even the A-1 sauce didn't help the foul odor and taste of the meat. All in all PABLO is absolutely the worst server in town. The Manager, some short stocky guy Latino wasn't doing anything but handling the cash register, and handling what else I don't know, but my Latin partner and I couldn't wait to get out of there on Sunday. You will be sorely disappointed if you dine at Norms in Torrance.
