The best Jjamppong (seafood noodle soup) in Torrance, period.I believe they have a new cook as the soup tasted different than before COVID. The soup actually have two of each, shrimp, mussel, and a few strips of squid and a few pieces of small scallops. The Chef pan-fried the onion first o slightly charred, which brings out the flavor before adding other ingredients. The spicy level is at medium, but that is hot enough for me (I do eat spicy food regularly). I would also add a spoonful of white vinegar.

Ive been going here since they opened and really arent any better "Chinese/Korean" restaurants in this category. My go to would be here or Little China in Gardena but thats so out of the way for me.Not sure if some of the other people caught the workers on a bad day but I've had nothing but good experiences here. One time, the soup was a little too hot for my daughter and the guy at front went out of his way to find us some ice so we can cool it down for her to eat.

I was at H Mart and needed to use the restroom. A man walked in to the restroom fairly soon after I did. He used to restroom, and I watched him walk out of the restroom without washing his hands. After I finished washing mine, I watched as he walked straight to this restaurant. Figured this has to be some sort of health violation

Torrance Food Crawl #406 Pan Holic is one of the three restaurants in the H Mart food court. The menu is mostly Chinese food, rather than Korean or Chicken which are the main themes at the other two food court restaurants. The best item I've had here was the C12 House Chicken. Small chicken tenders covered with a sweet & slightly spicey sauce. There were about 30 pieces of chicken so if you decide to take some home with you, they'll provide a small takeout box. (5/5) The C13 Orange Chicken was similar in quality and quantity but had a sweet orange-flavored sauce. Good, but a little sweet for my taste, though I suspect most people wouldn't mind the sweetness. (4/5) The C2 Tray of Noodles with Seafood in Black Soy Bean Sauce (TrayJajangmyeon), whew, that's a long name, had a lot going on. A lot of onion, an acceptable amount of seafood, and lots of noodles. (3/5) The C8 Seafood Stir Rice (or Seafood Fried Rice), pretty much was seafood and rice. The shrimp were OK, but the squid was on the chewy side (overcooked perhaps?). This dish was a little on the dry side, which really isn't unusual for fried rice, but I did find myself frequently sipping my drink. (3/5) The C4 Noodle Soup with Seafood & Peppers was very good. There was a small mix of seafood, along with noodles and broth. Very good. (4/5) The C15 Garlic & Pepper Spicy Shrimp was more on the average side. Nothing terrible, but kind of plain. (3/5) Unlike the other two restaurants in the food court, Pan Holic does not sell drinks. There is a water dispenser in the food court if you want free water, or, you could go into the H Mart market (entry is on the south side of the building, compared to the food court entry on the east side) and buy some drinks there.

As somebody who grew up in the South Bay~ this is a MUST-HAVE comfort food for me. Whenever my dad wants to grab lunch with me, this is one of the top 3 meals I'm ALWAYS DOWN for. Located inside the H-Mart, the food comes out fairly quickly and in reasonable portions. I usually order some concoction of the following: 1. Jja-jang- myun: typical black soybean paste noodles 2. Gan- Jja-jang: the same as above BUT with sautéed fresh onions! Def adds that natural sweetness and crunchy texture 3. Tray- Jja-jang: same as the above BUT with different seafoods added- shrimp, octopus, and mussels! 4. Sweet & spicy pork: battered crispy pork with a seeet and sour sauce. The sauce is a gelatinous texture full of sweetness. It has pineapple chunks in it and the combination of the steaming pork with a slightly acidic sauce just MELTS in my mouth. There's a shrimp or chicken option as well 5. Gan-poong- shrimp: similar to the above, but shrimp with a different sauce. This sauce is wayyyy more acidic than the sauce mentioned above. The sauce is a bit more liquified and heavy on the vinegar. Might not be everybody's cup of tea :/ Overall, if you're looking for a filling, wholesome, hearty dinner~ order from Panholic! I swear every time I go, the orders are being called only from this place even though there are other options!

This place is horrible. Spicy noodle soup was not eatable. it tastes like tab water with chili oil on the top. Total waste of money.

First, not friendly. We got a Sweet and Sour Pork. This is the driest sweet and sour pork I ever had. I believe other place's one is more moisture even after a day. In addition, It's a shock that pickled radish (side dish) can be tasteless.

Skimp and rude

Pretty good food. I really like the sweet and sour shrimp. Not a big fan of the black noodles, but they were good. Big pieces or shrimp, go for that if you can.

I would never eat here again. If there’s a zero star, I will give them that. Their service is horrible. Granted that this is not a real restaurant and placed at a food court, I didn’t have any expectations. But when the server started yelling at me for taking one too many utensils, I was appalled. If they said I can only take one utensil per dish and asked me to pay for the extra utensil, I would have gladly done so. But instead, he was rude and started talking super loud and screaming and made me feel uncomfortable. Food was ok for the food court level. But their service is horrible, I would never eat here again.
