First time in my life trying Peet's, all because I was given a gift card. I ordered a chai latte and matcha latte hot teas.
My order was called, chai and matcha he said for Alex, today 12.31.2024 past 11am.....get my order and head home ❗❗❗❗ I get home, and on one cup there's weird writing on it wondering what it is, how to tell which is which......I was given Dark Black Coffee instead of matcha latte❗❗❗❗❗ Wrong drink even when worker confirmed they were matcha and chai❗❗❗❗ Video and picture doesn't lie, I would go back for a refund but it's toooo far of a drive 30+ minutes❗❗❗ I got cheated out of my money❗❗❗❗❗

Parking: Lot of car break-ins and rubberies in the parking lot. Keep your head on a swivel.
For some reason,about half the time, they get my order wring. Instead of a hot hibiscus tea, they prepare it iced. They are always nice and fix it, but it's getting old.

I CARRIED my 3lb teacup Maltese ESA pup into Pete’s in Torrance Crossroads and the manager lady harassed me as I was walking to the counter to grab my coffee with my dog in hand, she says, “excuse me don’t put your dog on the counter, we don’t even allow dogs in here”. I told her I didn’t let him on the counter and he’s registered as an emotional support animal. I thought Pete’s was more dog friendly than this. I was appalled and walked out told her she was rude. I will never go back to Pete’s after this superfluous treatment. SMH. You just lost another customer!

A few years ago, my sister and I visited this Pete's Coffee shop in Torrance, and the employees were much more friendlier. But the coffee was still good.

I walked in at 5:30am when they open. I wouldn’t expect anyone to be pleasant at that time, I know I’m not! But the gentleman who was putting out tables and chairs smiled at me, welcomed me in, addressed me by my name multiple times and wished me a great day… I was blown away! Not to mention the golden late was just the cherry on top of my early morning work day. Wow, thank you!
