If you have a tip jar at your checkout counter, and you notice customers fail to put money in it, their reasons may be one-or-more of the following: (a) They didn't get a THANK YOU response often enough when they tipped in the past. (b) They don't appreciate being manipulated by the practice of 'seeding' the tip jar with cash to guilt customers into giving more ("Don't you want to be like other generous souls before you?"). (c) Tipping is a tool management uses to justify paying their staff lower wages. (d) They want the businesses they patronize to be fans of the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid). (e) They're in (or headed for) dire economic circumstances. i.e., poverty (f) One alternative = abolish tip jars/tipping, and put up a placard reading "We have NO tip jar: our employees earn (or don't) bonuses every 4 weeks based on a formula involving changes in our net revenue and foot-traffic (how often you & your friends come in + the quantity/value of stuff you buy)."

So I came to a tuna sub..... it was here or next door. I'm glad I came here. It was good.... Tuna was perfect maybe just maybe a tad bit more mayo but other than that. I'll be back when I'm In The area The service was quick and pleasant. She took our order with happiness and spoke to my inlaw in Spanish to make sure it was the way she wanted it. Thank you for the awesome service

Went in for 2 plain cheesesteaks today to be met with such a great attitude from the manager. Very customer service oriented, listens, is engaged with you, and reads their customers well. Been coming here for years and not once has his attitude swayed. Being greeted with a how are you and being friendly to others goes a long way. No workers on their phone, extremely clean bathroom and dining area. Richard does great work!! This man should run for Human Resources or regional managing lead because this is how it's supposed to be.

Wednesday, jan 31st, 3:52pm I was heading into subway, but decided to try this sandwich shop next to subway. I will never set a foot into this shop again, they do not treat their customers with the same respect. I was upset with their childish behavior. I do not reccomend this establishment.

Great staff, great service, great food! The best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had in California!! Every time I’ve visited this location, the staff are always very polite and professional. The food is also prepared well and never disappoints.

I ordered a mushroom cheesesteak, she ordered a turkey sandwich and we shared a basket of onion rings. Gotta say, my sammich was pretty damn tasty, especially the bread. Was a touch pricey for the two of us but we both left very satisfied and glad we stopped there instead of L&L next door. Hot sauce and seasoning were available to dress up your sammich how you want and the staff was very friendly and attentive for a few extras like pickles & jalapeños. I've never been to Philadelphia but seen Rocky tons of times so this tasted pretty legit as a real deal Philly.

Food was made fresh, crispy fries... the wait to order was a little longer than it should have been but the employee did apologize... there was a lot of pending orders. Ambiance was ok... some tables did need cleaning but I found one that was clean enough to sit at. It's been a while since I've been here but just came for a quick lunch break with my husband.

My go to is the Philly's Best sandwich. However, their Meatball sandwich is even better.

Tastes like cheesesteak from Philadelphia! Meat smothered with mushrooms and onions, stuffed into roll, yum. Called in for take out and enjoyed in front of the television during a Philly's baseball win. Almost as good as being in the stands.

Best cheesesteak sub I have ever had! I've been trying to find a good one since I moved to California 3 years ago and they were all mediocre at best. Philly's Best are even better than the good ones I've had on the east coast!

Not as good as it used to be, but still respectable.

Great chicken hoagies and French fries with cheese on the side. It reminds me of the shops in Philly! Yum!!
