We had breakfast here and it was very good. I had their Quiche Lorraine, chocolate croissant and a cappuccino. My husband had the Californian and French Onion soup. The cappuccino was a bit hot (had to take off the cap to cool it off). Service was good and efficient. Will have to come back and try more from the menu.

Love this place! I love their French Onion Soup which they always have on the menu. I love their Soup of the Day, too! Their sandwiches are very good, and so are their egg dishes. Haven't had anything I didn't like. They have all kinds of yummy looking pastries, as well but, I try to stay away from all pastries,...tempting as it is! Everything is so clean tasting, so light and refreshing. (The place is also clean, too) My sister from Hawaii loves this place, too. She has to stop in on every visit.

They're located next to the Nike store. It's a medium sized shop that serves French pastries, sandwiches, etc. We ordered at the counter and our food was dropped off at our table. I had the morning croissant which had egg, bacon and cheese on a croissant and it was good. The egg and bacon were piping hot so make sure you take a small bite to try at first. I also tried their Paradise tartine and was so impressed by it that I want to try to make it at home. It's berries & avocado on bread with a thin layer of ricotta and topped with granola and it was healthy yet filling. I tried their mini apple tart and pretty much made out with it, it was so good. I'm not even an apple pie or turnover fan, but it looked really nice through the display window and tasted even better. It's got the perfect proportion of dough to filling and it's a thin flaky pastry as opposed to a thick pastry like an apple turnover. The chef actually dropped of our order and was very nice and told us bon appetit! If you're missing France or want to try some very delicious and beautiful pastries, Pinwheel is the place.

Wow, not only is this omelette to die for, but these dripping cheesy gratin potatoes are ridiculously good. Also their pastries, tarts and deserts make me feel like I vortexed all the way to France. This place is an escape for sure.

My favorite place!! Everything is amazing, the French onion soup is always a must, and I love the egg salad, you can't find a better sandwich and the Californian is my all time fav. Every dessert is tasty and I eat here once a week, I'm always trying something new each time I visit and everything is delish. The owner Caroline is from France and is the sweetest. We are so blessed to have these French culinary delights! Also I just love the ambiance and the wonderful French music

Bread is good but service is terrible. Just walked out after standing at counter for 10 min. 8-10 people working, some doing nothing. No one would take my order for loaf of bread. Sad comment on business today.

Got the nordique omelette, very disappointed. Was supposed to come with smoked salmon, capers, dill, cream cheese, etc... honestly it was just overcooked scrambled eggs in an omlette form folded in half with some overcooked regular-tasting chunky salmon inside. Everything else was on the side, cold cream cheese, a sprig of dill, capers rolling around my plate, Maybe I was expecting too much but I had hoped they were going to take all the ingredients and put them together in some sort of creative way into some amazing omlette that was cooked to perfection, but nope. If you're OK with a bunch of ingredients put on the side of your plate with over cooked eggs/salmon then by all means, this plate is fantastic, but for me not so much. And by the way... since this is supposed to be a French restaurant, you'd think they would make a proper French omlette the way its supposed to be with slightly undercooked or at least "medium" eggs, definately not overcooked. Anyhow everything was just so dissapointing. I ate it because I was hungry. Would never return. I'm sure the pastries are good but I would skip anything with eggs. Gave then 2 stars only because of cleanliness of the restaurant and courteous staff.

During this cold weather, Pinwheel Cafe has become my favorite go to place for the delicious French onion soup. Comfortably warms the body and makes me happy being there. The pastries are so good and coffee always fresh. Also a must have is the French Toast. So many items yet to try for me. All employees aim to please with their good service. If you haven't been there yet, give it a try.

GREAT STAFF!Cain is an asset to your establishment. I was having a meal here and I couldn’t help but notice he has a great attitude and attentive to the customers. I overheard him taking care of a customer who complained their coffee was burned. He addressed it and she left smiling. Management material. A+++

Food I got the Basque tartine which is an open faced sandwich which prosciutto, manchego, and arugula among other condiments and it came with a side salad and choice of vinaigrette. I got the lemon olive oil vinaigrette. I also got the iced latte. Starting with the latte, it was okay i still tasted the coffee flavor without it being watered down. Now for the food. Starting off with the salad, do not get the lemon olive oil as it was way too sour even though i only put in a 1/4 of container. And it ruined my palate for the rest of the meal. With the sandwich itself, it was pretty good. Rich prosciutto with the creamy manchego was a perfect balance to the bitter arugula and came as an almost perfect bite each time. The bite was ruined by the over toasted bread as it was a bit hard to bite or run my knife through at times. The menu looked good though so hopefully on my next go the food is much better Service/Ambiance The inside of the restaurant gives off a nice parisian cafe vibe and with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We got the food pretty quickly and the staff were nice too

Last time visiting this place, at least for a while. It used to be so good here, but something has changed. Not sure if the owners just don't care anymore or they're getting burned out, but food and service was a total fail today. Wife and I ordered the California Tartine, Chicken Pesto Turnover, and Panna Cotta. Bread for the Tartine was soo burnt and it barely had any toppings. Can't believe they charge $14 for such garbage. I really want to support small business but its reasons like this that make it difficult. I could've made this better at home. They come to tell me later they were out of Chicken Pesto, which is fine, no biggie. But after telling them I'm okay with switching to the ham turnover, the server comes back to ask me again what I wanted. Like what?? Panna cotta was good as usual. Like I stated, something feels off with this place. Owners don't seem happy even when you greet them. I don't own a restaurant, so I can only imagine how difficult it could be and draining. Still rooting for them and hopefully they can hire the proper staff to actually create less burden and issues for their business.

Expensive as hell, but overall not a bad experience including an exquisite rose shaped dessert mousse thing.
