The burger was delicious. That classic diner taste and the girl working the front was a delight ?

This place used to be remarkable when it was family owned it has recently been purchased by someone else. And the prices have gone up drastically

Food is ok but expensive, $7 plus tax for eggs and chorizo entre, not worth the price. If you order the eggs and chorizo entre, they don't even include tortillas with your meal. "We charge extra for tortillas". Who eats eggs and chorizo without tortillas. So disappointing. Won't be going here again.

Breakfast was OK. It's not too good, not too bad. Service was good.
I like this place the food is good and fresh. My favorite is the hard shell ground beef tacos. My only problem and the reason I stopped coming is the prices. They used to have a special 3 tacos for 10 dollars which was pretty reasonable but now I believe one tacos is 6 dollars, that's highway robbery. Unfortunately I will not be back that is just too much for one taco.

Local neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot. Not much business for dinner as this is pretty much a run of the mill diner that locals, daytime workers & contractors stop by for a quick eat. $9 for a double cheeseburger and add another $6 if you want fries and drink. It's meh.

I’m not sure who named this spot but I have eaten burgers all over the world and this one was one of the worst and I could not eat the whole tiny patty of ‘beef’

Burger was good but overpriced. Burger alone is $8.50 + combo came out is $15.86. Asked for thousand island and they wanted extra $1 after I just spent almost $16 for combo. Not cool

Food's great, this was my go to place for breakfast burritos and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, they raised the price to almost double and have not been back since.

Food was good. The service was good. a nice family run operation. On the corner of Normandy and Torrance boulevard so you get some serious harbor gateway vibes, but other than that nice place to stop off for a quick bite.

Pit stop isn't the best but it isn't the worst. I live and work close by and pit stop is the spot you go to when you don't wan to travel far. Harbor gateway area doesn't have to much for the traditional mom and pop burgers. Pit stop is exactly that a pit stop when you need a quick bite to eat. I knew the last owner Sam and his family they recently sold the place and it's been changing a little bit. I believe the cooks might be the same. My go to is the breakfast sandwich or the traditional cheese burger combo. I haven't ate inside since it's been sold. Before they would offer free coffee not sure if they still do. The location isn't the biggest but it's a traditional style diner seating. Give them a shot!
