9/11/19: Sadly it sounds like Ramen Spott is closing. Will miss Chef Sanji - hope another restaurant is on the horizon. Chef Sanji is back and I couldn't be happier. Night and clean place with plenty of parking. Quick service and a very happy staff - felt like we were dining with friends. Just a great experience. Menu has our favorite rolls from Sushi Duke plus an amazing ramen list. I don't think you can spend a better $7.50 than the miso ramen here. Just epic. Come here and tell your friends - Chef Sanji is back!

Very friendly atmosphere. The place is decorated very nicely and they have a lot to choose from. The food was very good and I can say I'd revisit this place again.

Should've listened to the reviews before coming in here. Thought we'd grab a bite before a movie l. The service was fine, but did the waitress honestly not know she had horrendous body odor? Like every time she walked by I lost my appetite. We ordered spicy miso and chasu ramen bowls. The reviews didn't lie. Both of our bowls were lukewarm. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this place serves disgusting food. We also had pork fried rice which tasted way better than what they're supposed to be good at, ramen. There's plenty of Japanese ramen spots out there. This is a hard pass.

I am SO thrilled to have such a fabulous high-quality Sushi Bar,- "RAMEN SPOTT" nestled in our exclusive "Rolling Hills Plaza" providing just the right intimacy, fresh fish of all manner in a comfortable decor, I have great fun times inviting all manner of friends & family groups to come out & have a great night with our Host - "Sanji" & his terrific accomplice in service 'Mitzi' !! She's a doll! Great idea to drop in before or after a movie , or after shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, 24 Hours Gym , Nike& so many terrific spots to shop and socialize . This spot is a superb destination to bring your special date for a successful first date evening, I it !! You'll dig it too, Terri Roese here-

I have been wanting to try this place and I finally did, I was so so disappointed. First off they have a sign outside that says "SUSHI" when I went to have lunch I wanted sushi, I was told " only at dinner time" I ask myself why would you have a sign that says otherwise?????? Makes no sense.second point, I ordered a bowl of ramen, They didn't have many choices but I ordered, The service was very quick which was a surprise but the soup was very very bad, it was tasteless and bitter?!??!?? I asked if I could get something else and the man was very rude, he said, " well, If i get you another soup you won't like it and then what?????? I said, I've been to Japan, I am part Japanese and this is really bad, I Just want to try something else, he took the bowl and didn't take any time and he bought me another bowl that looked identical, i don't think he changed anything, it tasted the same way, HORRIBLE!!! I was asked by the waitress, is this better??? I said is ok, I tried to eat but honestly it was really bitter and no flavor!!!!!! I thought I just need to get out of here. I paid and left, I'll never go back!!!! I've been to many ramen places and this guys are the absolute worst place I've been. AVOID GOING I received a reply from someone telling me that I have no idea about Ramen????????????? I am Japanese, I've spent a lot of time In Japan and i have no idea??????? You have no idea! And then they Inaccurately said I had 3 bowls? And that I didn't tip? Why would you ask for a Tip??? That just shows you how Poorly you treat your customers, I mean if you have to ask for a tip, it means to me you do not know how to EARN ONE! Also, I only tried 2 bowls, I wouldn't eat a third or ever go back!!!! It is sad to see how this people who aren't even Japanese try to make a simple bowl of ramen!!!! I can do a better one and I don't even have a restaurant, I think they need to stick to Indian food or something else! Ramen is really not their thing, I should have taken a clue to the fact that the restaurant was empty, this pretty much tells you they are really bad!!! And to try to represent a Japanese restaurant? This is silly and they won't last long this way, I am a local and I support good restaurants, this clearly missed the mark by a long shot, they aren't even Japanese!!! It is very funny how they try to be something they clearly have no clue! I would say, try to hire a Japanese chef to change this maybe, you would get clients at lunch time, I went right at Lunch and it was deserted, this should have been a clue to stay away!!!! I find it very rude that Sanji sent me a message stating nothing but lies! He also stated that I wanted to try their crappy food for 10.00 dlls?????????? I ordered ramen! Nothing else! What they served was junk!!!!! I sent it back because it tasted horrible!!! No flavor at all, 2 minutes later they brought me another bowl?!??? How is it possible for them to make it so fast??????????? Obviously they gave me the same bowl.... that cant even be called ramen!!!!! Obviously I left NO TIP as the server gave me an attitude!?!???? They have NO IDEA WHAT SERVICE IS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cute ramen spot, it's lowkey but still nice atmosphere. The servers are kind and the spicy miso ramen i had ordered was pretty good as well !

I have higher expectations for ramen if it comes from a restaurant that specializes in ramen vs. a Japanese restaurant that happens to offer ramen. The ramen at Ramen Spott is very average. The meet was a little overdone, and the broth was just OK. The service is very good though.

Another Ramen restaurant to go to. This was yet another random find for a bowl of delicious Japanese noodles in robust broth of your choice. Rather you enjoy miso, tonkatsu, shoyu, etc., based broth you will like their selections of flavors. So check out their menu, they offer many other Japanese dishes. Service is good and we got our meal expediently.

This place has the potential to be great. I got the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and my wife got the regular ramen. We both agreed the broth was really good. Presentation was very appealing. The noodles were too thin for my taste. They do have the option to get better noodles but with a mark up. The only thing on the table is soy sauce, chili oil, salt and pepper. No hot sauce of any kind. If you want some you pay a dollar a serving. They have plenty of extras for your soup but at a price. By the time you add a few things it's close to a $20 bowl of ramen. Fried chicken had very little flavor but at least it was a decent portion. For what we paid we could of gone to the Mongolian hot pot in the same shopping center and had a more satisfying meal. The broth was better than most of the ramen places I've been to though which is why it has the potential to be a great ramen shop.

Went close to closing; around 9:30pm. Fast customer service. Never had to ask for my water to be refilled. Might just be because they wanted to go home, but either way still good. The food was pretty good too. Not too expensive! Would recommend to a friend if looking for some ramen.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Weak AF, dont call yourself a ramen spott when your place is dead on friday night, zero custys, and you sell sushi with ramen.. not authentic japanese ramen if you dont even provide the service either. Terrible experience, first the ramen came out before the gyoza appetizer .. I figured I try the Coconut Curry w/ shrimp, my gf got the spicy miso. I was born in japan, I've worked in legit ramen-ya's, I know ramen.. I Always taste the broth first and Im neko-jita. The soups lukewarm and watered down, so I try a shrimp and the tail is still cold like it was popped in the soup frozen and thawed on the way to the table. The only thing near warm is the noodles bc it was probably dipped in boiling water, nothing else. I ask my gf how hers' is and she says it's the same in her bowl. So I call the obasan over and I say I'm sorry but our shrimp and broth is not hot, not even warm, politely in Japanese. She runs and gets the cook, he has some bs response about health code and they boil the shrimp before adding it into the soup. If that was the case it wouldn't have been cold bud... nice try. I explain to him you can't argue cold food, and this "chef"s brilliant solution is to MICROWAVE our meals while watching the basketball game on tv.. If they dont at least add fresh HOT broth with fresh noodles (really not hard at all) its not ramen anymore, its cup a noodles. So Definitely not authentic Japanese style ramen or customer service at all, piss poor. I was alil heated, I only ate the gyoza which was wow, fully cooked and the only decent food on the table. I stayed bc my GF is too kind and wouldnt let me walk out but eventually succumbed to the terrible microwaved bowl of now soggy noodles.. This place has potential, the menu concepts and selections are interesting, if they can get it together... word to the ramen people out there: if the ramen-ya doesnt have a japanese name and if they serve anything more than ramen excluding ramen food and appetizers its not a ramen spott. Everyone who thinks this place is good save your money and eat better elsewhere, please!

This was seriously the worst ramen experience. We ordered fried gyoza as an appetizer & two bowls ramen. I ordered the spicy miso w/ shrimp & my boyfriend ordered the coconut ramen w/ shrimp! The weird thing is our ramen came out before the fried gyoza....which should've told us something wasn't right LOL. Our shrimp was cold and the base was very watery...we were trying to cook our shrimp in a cool ramen base. The only thing hot were the noodles. I told the lady working that our shrimp were cold & the chef came out saying it's for the health code to throw the shrimp in like that & for us to cook our shrimp in the base. It honestly taste like the chef dropped in frozen shrimp into the ramen for them to "cook" and threw in some old watery veggies! After complaining, they offered to MICROWAVE my ramen. They did not offer to remake my ramen or attempt to make their paying customers happy in any way. Instead the chef argued w/ me while he watched the basketball game. Great customer service LOL.

Made my first visit today. 5 stars: Cleaness 3 stars: Taste (shoyu?) 2 stars: Quantity 1 star: Information provided after served Credit card: min $15 or $ 1 more (1 person's total rarely goes over $15. Waived only this time as exceptions) Additional Chillies: food looks very spicy on menu, so I asked for medium spicy (a.k.a less spicy and tone down)It was additional $1.50 ridiculously. Less spicy was additional chilly paste sauce to them. After credit card transaction, they waived service tip.
