We (a group of four) came in and wrote our names down for a reservation, then waited for about 15 minutes. Suddenly, a family of three took our table, and we had to tell the waiter that we had arrived first. We eventually got our table and waited a few more minutes. However, when we asked for the menu—since we were supposed to be served first—the waiter told us they were no longer serving and that “this is how it works.”
This was a really disappointing and unprofessional experience. Such an attitude is unacceptable, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

I haven't been to this place in years. The menu has been completely revamped and perhaps they're under new ownership. I remember Yamadaya being a little more traditional, but it's been modernized which isn't a bad thing. I'm excited to see what's new and different. The first thing I noticed was the sign outside is upside down. I thought it was a mistake until I saw the menu which I had to flip around a few times lol. I ordered the curry ramen with karrage and added a salad and gyoza. The ramen was pretty good but I would've liked to have the curry a bit thinner to compliment the ramen a little better. Perhaps some red pickles would go well with it too to help change up the texture. The curry rice has always been a standout and I think I would've preferred the rice instead of the ramen. The salad was spot on as always and the fried gyoza was great. The only issue I had was the dipping sauce which was provided was extremely salty. I had to go grab some vinegar to help cut it. My experience was positive and I'm looking forward to trying something different next time.

This place is pretty decent. The ramen met expectations. The broth was flavorful and solid, though the noodles could have been cooked a little better. It is tough to be impressed these days since I have been to some really standout ramen spots, but for the price here, it is worth coming back if friends are in the mood.
The service was great. Everyone was friendly and we got seated quickly. Overall, it is a good spot to satisfy a ramen craving without breaking the bank. The only downside is the small size of this restaurant. The seating is very limited so you should expect to wait if you come during dinner (maybe even lunch)

A bit too salty for me. It’s hard to finish the whole bowl. And no restroom by the way, for those who drives all the way through.
Small and no High chair for children
The tonkotsu wasn't as flavorful as I used to remember, the chashu was a little chewy/burnt, and the egg yolk was a tad bit overcooked. The place used to be amazing 5/5 for me but I think the place has changed ownership.

Listen… the level 3 spicy miso ramen here is IT. I add extra green onions and fresh garlic, and it’s basically therapy in a bowl. Rich broth, perfect heat, and that punch of fresh garlic? Chef’s kiss.
Only downside—no alcohol. But don’t worry, the Hi & Dry bar is literally next door if you need to take the edge off (or keep the night going lol).
Solid ramen spot I keep coming back to when I need that comforting kick.

I ordered the Tonkotsu Spicy ramen, medium spicy. It's there best seller for good reason. The broth is rich and not as salty as other ramen spots. My friend ordered the same and the Karaage Chicken. That chicken was fire. Tender, juicy and so much flavor. The servings were very generous and the food was prepared and served quickly. The waiter was friendly and checked on us at least twice which I appreciate. The place itself was on the small side but the food was amazing. Definitely a great Ramen spot in the South Bay to try.

I've only been to 5 or fewer ramen places so far, and this place is the best out of all of them. The broth and noodles were SO GOOD with their homemade chili. I ordered the R1 and Volcano. Also ordered hot green tea and it was matcha green tea. We were also given matcha ice cream as a small dessert for free. Such a kind gesture. I wanna come back and try the rest of their menu. 🥰🥰🥰

They give off racist vibes towards black people. Every time I have a doordash pickup I never get greeted and I have to force myself to catch someone's attention

Poor service. They forgot half of our order, including the kids’ meals and the drinks. Disappointing, because the food is actually very good.

Delicious ramen, great staff
The place is small, maybe 10 tables or so (that we could see). The food was very good. The prices are reasonable for ramen. I really only had two things I didn't care for. 1. The music was really loud. 2. I didn't like their kimchi (that's a personal preference kinda thing). I love kimchi but not from every restaurant. They have a big variety of ramen choices, and they also serve sushi 🍣. Honestly, the food offset the negatives.
