I haven't been to this place in years. The menu has been completely revamped and perhaps they're under new ownership. I remember Yamadaya being a little more traditional, but it's been modernized which isn't a bad thing. I'm excited to see what's new and different. This place is pretty decent. The ramen met expectations. The broth was flavorful and solid, though the noodles could have been cooked a little better. It is tough to be impressed these days since I have been to some really standout ramen spots, but for the price here, it is worth coming back if friends are in the mood.

The tonkotsu wasn't as flavorful as I used to remember, the chashu was a little chewy/burnt, and the egg yolk was a tad bit overcooked. The place used to be amazing 5/5 for me but I think the place has changed ownership.
