Food were good as expected for that price tag. It may sound weird, but they have got the best Miso soup I have ever had so far. I would definitely go back and try some other dishes.

The food was good, but just the beef taste kind of mid and the food was a little cold. We also ordered a Coke, but they took forever to come. Otherwise, this place was ok though.

This is my ~5th time coming since I first went back in April. I live 40 minutes away on a good day. It is SO. GOOD. I think about Red Rock constantly, I even dreamt about it already. I always get the #2 special, the steak don with an egg and cheese. The most recent time I went, they took out the cheese and I was so sad. Bring back the cheese, please!!! Medium rare is the best! I also get the croquettes and those are to die for! The service is always impeccable, my water is always full! I love the cozy little atmosphere inside the teeny tint restaurant. It's worth waiting in line for. 5 stars every single time I've been. 6 stars if I could because this is one of my favorite restaurants!

THIS PLACE IS INSANELY GOOD!!!! If you want to impress someone, bring them here hands down. Their two top dishes are the roast beef bowl and steak bowl, and after trying both, I’m officially loyal to the roast beef bowl forever. I have no clue what magic they work on it, but it’s absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Don’t forget to add the egg. The meal also comes with soup and salad. The salad has a strong tomato sauce flavor, and the soup, though simple, is seriously amazing. Honestly, I’m lowkey sad they don’t offer a giant-sized bowl haha.

I went back twice in a week when it first opened lol. I even got my friend hooked, and now they’re finding every excuse to swing by before work.

This is easily my favorite Japanese spot right after Waraku near Carson and Western. YOU GOTTA CHECK IT OUT! But... maybe don’t tell too many people or the wait times will get crazy :P

Get yourself to Red Rock and order the demi-glaze omurice with ketchup rice! It’s easily worth an hour drive, will remind you of the very best omurice found in Japan, and is such a generous portion, you will almost assuredly have leftovers. There are four meat options to choose from with the omurice and I highly recommend the Hamburg steak.

Though you will likely be stuffed, I also recommend the beef and potato croquette! The interior is small and the bar is tight. It’s 100% worth waiting for a table.

Food is good but why do they NEVER pick up the phone? Do you have people working there who are afraid of phone orders? I tried placing to go order but they never pick up. I ended up having to go there and place the order and wait in my car. That's very inconvenient.

The food here is excellent 👌🏻. Definitely, not an everyday place, but for that special occasion it's a go. Been meaning to go back, but never got around to it.

Tiny place with great food! They have strange hours…

Extremely disappointing experience at Red Rock-Torrance. We had barely lined up at the entrance when we were told “last call in five minutes.” We understood the timing but still expected a basic level of hospitality. Instead, the staff kept interrupting us while we were eating to remind us how many minutes were left until closing. After we paid, they continued to rush us—and even turned off the lights while we were still inside the restaurant.

This behavior was rude and unprofessional. A restaurant that charges $20–30 per person should at least treat its guests with basic courtesy. This aggressive way of pushing customers out is unacceptable, and it left a terrible impression. I would not recommend Red Rock-Torrance to anyone who values a respectful dining atmosphere.

Very similar to what I’ve tried in Japan. Food is super good and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I love this place 5 star, but the closing hours are wrong and I have to dock it down two stars. They close at 9pm, not 9:30pm. And we've been burned twice as a result driving from LA, even though we asked them to fix the hours. More than happy to change the rating once the hours are fixed.
