Met Rosa herself last night and she’s amazing!! She’s had this business over 34 years. It’s a very authentic experience and the walls are hand painted with views of Rosa’s hometown in Mexico. I love her and her staff and had a great experience with our family. It’s a small cozy space and her restaurant is historic in the area.
Rosa’s La Cabana feels just like eating at my Grandma’s. I’m picky about rice and beans when I go out for Mexican food - sounds simple, but when they’re done right, you know the rest of the meal’s going to be good. Rosa’s nails it; the rice and refried beans are full of flavor. If you’re into spicy, ask for the spicy salsa with your chips - it totally surprised me, and you know I’m all about the heat.
