Service is nothing special, slow and robotic. Inattentive shift leader/Mgr stayed in the kitchen when a complaint was made. Personally, their fish tacos are 💯 🔥. Perfectly crispy and all the ingredients tasted fresh.
However, the refried beans were wetter than soup and uneatable.

It’s rare when everyday things exceed expectations and that is the case at this location. Yes, it’s a taco chain. But this location has a management team that is clearly on it. Staff professional and kind. Food quality great. Super clean and well maintained. Awesome when you see hard work delivering a great product.

Staffs are always kind and welcome. Food quality was also better than other locations. My kids really enjoy make-own-taco menu.
Rubios has some of the best Mexican food in town. It’s always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. The employees are friendly and overall pleasant to dine in with.

Jose, the manager and rest of his crew at the Torrance location were really great to deal with. They are so hard working and very conscientious which makes my experience at Rubio's pleasant and the food is always delicious and timely.
How about adding some calamari?? Just a suggestion...?
Parking: Lots restaurants share parking here. Stonefire Grill, Mashawi Grill, Kozo Sushi and other cafes surrounding, but always get a spot...may not be right in front of Rubio's , but the food and outstanding salsa bar makes it worthwhile!
