Sei-Ko-En is a Japanese yakiniku restaurant in Torrance, Los Angeles. The restaurant is simply decorated with promotional menus and posters. Ventilation is not the strongest, so expect to be smelly after the meal. Servers are friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Food is reasonably priced and of good quality. It was a yakiniku restaurant where you could really feel Japan. The atmosphere is great. The meat is also great. The minced meat and miso that come with the kimchi and sandwich are also delicious. The clerks are also kind and work quickly, which is great. You can also eat liver sashimi and yukhoe. Cold noodles and yukke bibimbap are average. It would be even better if they had stone-grilled bibimbap.Reservations required.
Ox tongue is a delicacy. I actually love it more than the prime rib. After spending $150 per person at K bbq, this place is very affordable. Sapporo draft beer is icing on the cake. Must try!
