Good place to grab a quick bite to eat after going to appointments in the same building. Very nice couple running the place. Caprese sandwich was so good, and prices are still reasonable while other places have jacked up their prices due to inflation.

Torrance Food Crawl #411Seven Stories down is a small café on the bottom floor of The Medical Centre building across the street from LCM. It gets its name because it's on the bottom floor of a seven-story building. This is not so much a restaurant you would go out of your way to go to, but if you have some medical business to do and you feel hunger pangs, it will do fine. You'll find sandwiches, drinks, candies, etc., a little bit of everything. Most of the items are on the simple side, without too much imagination to their construction. The Breakfast Sandwich was on the dry side (2/5), the Bagel Deluxe nothing special (3/5), the Breakfast Burrito was decent (4/5), the Turkey Capri Sandwich good (4/5), and the Club Sandwich rather simple (3/5).

Turkey capri and club sandwiches are SO delicious. I found this cafe a couple of weeks ago when I had a doctor's appointment and have been going back with no other business in the medical building because the sandwiches are so darn good. The restaurant validates parking. The white bread used is nice and sweet; sandwich is prepared to perfection. I got the take out menu today and want to try the bulgogi next time which is served on Mondays. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem near my home!

For a small sized deli, this spot offers a wide array of delicious meals from freshly made sandwiches, salads, bowls, rice plates and fruit bowls. All the options are fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong from this place. There's also snacks like chips, drinks, bars, sweets and made to order hot/cold brews. Cherry on top is Rose who is full of joy and kindness. She can totally make your day better just by interacting with her.

A hidden gem! Went to get blood work drawn and stopped by on my way out (I was hungry after fasting). Delicious breakfast burrito, pretty cheap, and super friendly people. Totally recommend if your close.

This is a pretty decent little deli, and more than you would expect from the location. I had the caprese sandwich, which wasn't really a caprese sandwich (Swiss instead of mozzarella), but was better than I expected it to be with added cucumbers and avocado helping to make up for the lack of mozzarella. Not a lot of side choices. Pretty quick service and not too busy, even at lunchtime.

They have salads, breakfast, and lunch to dine in or to go. They have decaf.

Very good sandwiches here. I get everything on sourdough, which they toast perfectly. The turkey avocado one is so good but I've tried many of their other varieties and haven't had anything bad yet. Sometimes the sandwiches come with a side of potato salad but I've only received this twice, so it's inconsistent. Sandwiches only take about 5 minutes. If you work in the building you can call down and place your order beforehand.

Thought I would check this place out because of the good reviews and I really wanted a fresh salad. I give 2 stars for the great service but my salad is just sad. Just regular ol rolled lunch meat with lettuce and a little sprinkle of cheese for $8... So disappointed all the tables are dirty to. Sorry guys but I will not be coming back

Seven Stories Down is really fantastic little cafe located on the first floor of a medical building I work right next to. The lady who works at the counter is always super friendly and accommodating. The prices are pretty decent for most choices on the menu and overall the food is quite affordable and healthy. The best part is that they have hot homemade dishes if you're not in the mood for a deli sandwich or salad! And if you are in the mood for a sandwich/salad, they have a large range that you can choose from, even some vegan/vegetarian choice. They come stocked with all different types of snacks such as chips, candy, granola bars, oatmeal, and a wide array of beverages. Friendly service and good food, all you'd want from a tiny cafe in a medical building!

Nice little cafe that I only found through Yelp! Like they said, friendly folks, and some pretty good food. Nothing fancy, but the tofu sandwich was really good and simple. Wheat toast, think layer of mayo, lettuce, tomato, thin slice of American cheese, thick slab of tender but lightly browned tofu (really nice flavor and texture), avocado. I requested to sprouts. Sandwich was freshly made to order, and all components tasted fresh and good! Also got the California roll, and it was ok. The parking requires a ticket. Not sure if they validate at the cafe, but I had parked next door for a medical appointment and then walked over to the cafe after my appointment and so didn't have to worry about he parking ticket.
