Was so excited to see a new SB in my neighborhood BUT when it opened , different story . I'm having a real hard time with this new, big, close Starbucks. Although the location is perfect for me and the seating area is abundant, I am completely deflated every time I visit this Starbucks. The staff that work at this location are not friendly and go so far as to argue with you about your order , isn't the customer always right ? I walk in and the staff are in the middle of a personal conversation, laughing among themselves , not acknowledging anyone in the store , while customers stand there waiting at the register, feeling awkward. Like we are interrupting. Last visit I walked in , stood there waiting for my appl pickup order that wasn't on the counter as I thought it would be. FINALLY the barista looks at me , says just "your name?" And looks at me ...no greeting ..I tell her my name and then she turns around grabs coffee from the bar behind and says "you ordered for drive through pick up ". I said " I didn't know you can order for drive through pick up " she said nothing . No "thank you" ..why the heck would I order ahead and wait in a drive through line? Anyway not the point . The point is I've been to this SB a handful of times , via drive through and walk in . The staff is always dry, customers are not a priority and they don't use basic manners. It's very uncharacteristic of a SB and I've avoided this store since . I'll drive down the street further to another SB or different coffee house for kinder care and service .

Here I thought Starbucks was turning into a drive thru only, boring place where you can only stand(Sepulveda and Anza, Peninsula Center).Then up pops this gem of a relaxation heaven. Plenty of seating, soft if you like, high top, view, no view, communal table. All the things any person, group, or even homeless person with five hours to spare can enjoy. Jk jk. It's bright airy NEW!! outdoor seating, drive thru, easy to enter and exit. Great staff, huge windows to dream, or guess what cloud shape looks like your Gran. 5 stars, so far. Been here about 5 times. See ya there.

Nice Starbucks in this Torrance mall area. Kinda hidden. Used their bathroom recently because the dim sum restaurant's bathroom was out of order. My relatives ordered a drink from here. Quick and efficient.

This Starbucks has the most potential of all the local Starbucks. Those staff is super friendly and seem to work well as a team. I hear friendly banter that warms my heart as I deal with my toxic workplace. Yes, this place is my refuge! A couple points - please wipe the tables Starbucks! It's gross when my elbows come up sticky from the table...Also, wi fi doesn't work as often as it does work. Ok when I have hot spot but hotspots sometimes get throttled down ....Please standardize your drinks- sometimes my coffee with cream is like coffee in my milk. I pray for the day I am in control of my own cream again!

This a newer Starbucks that opened in Torrance that I found while looking for new study spots. I like it because it's a big space and not too crowded.They have outlets along the walls and lots of spread out seating.The wi-fi is spotty though, or hasn't connected for me. I'm lucky I can use a hotspot, but if I couldn't then I probably wouldn't stay there..Drive Thru seems very efficient and all the employees seem to realize that since they're new - they should stay speedy and focus on customer service. Which they did - I got my chai tea latte with oat milk within 5 minutes!I would recommend this Starbucks out of the other Starbucks in Torrance.

White chocolate mocha with whip was not made well. No whip and very little chocolate sauce. A lack of attention to detail is not a recipe for success or quality.

I had the pleasure of being among the first customers to visit the newly opened Starbucks in Rolling Hills Plaza, and despite a minor delay in receiving our drinks, it was an overall positive experience.My friends and I were excited to try out this new Starbucks location, and we were immediately greeted by a friendly staff as we entered the drive-through. It was evident that there was a bit of understaffing, as our drinks took a little longer than usual to prepare. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff.Despite the busy atmosphere, the Starbucks team managed to handle the situation with a smile. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate our orders made the wait more bearable. It's refreshing to encounter staff who genuinely care about the customer experience.The coffee, once it arrived, was as delicious as ever, and it was evident that the baristas took pride in their craft. While the initial wait may have been slightly longer than expected, the quality of the drinks and the fantastic service made it worthwhile.In conclusion, I appreciate the efforts of the staff at the new Starbucks in Rolling Hills Plaza. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one with their warm and welcoming attitude. I'm willing to overlook the minor delay in service for the overall excellent customer experience, and I look forward to returning to this location in the future.

Opening day at the new location off of PCH. Same friendly crew from the old location. New location is 2535-1 Pacific Coast Hwy just east of Trader Joe's by the BevMo entrance.

Terrible service Stopped by this morning to grab some breakfast , the lady that took our order was sweet but the barista and the other barista that handed our pastries had a horrible attitude( rolled her eyes ) didn't even bother to acknowledge us when we ask her about our drinks

I ordered a drink and a grilled cheese. Got the drink first and was standing there waiting for over 10 mins but didn't get the grilled cheese. Store was not even busy so I asked if my grilled cheese was ready. It turns out that they didn't even start and then they found out they were all out. They could have checked already and let me know but just left me waiting without any follow-up. Poor service and training. Very disappointed!!!

I gotta say I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was really friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful. Service was Quick and easy. The area was peaceful and even the music they were playing was peaceful. The restrooms were clean ? I'm definitely coming back

For many years I would go to this restaurant with my computer for the internet. And I ordered either breakfast or just coffee with a slice ?? of pumpkin, or a slice of zucchini bread.They also have balanced diet lunches, etc. Sometimes, I would sit outside. It is better in the summer time.Service is good. And the place is always clean. They have two restrooms ?? at the back of the restaurant.There is plenty of parking ?️? lots, and also across Airport drive.Parking: There is free parkings all over,and around the restaurant itself and across the street, which is Airport dr.ive, there is a free parking lot.

Being a woman of color, my takeaway is either the staff are blind or racist. I'm going with the latter!!It's not like I was ordering free water. I am a paying customer. Why did i have to wait almost 5 minutes to place an order. No one ever said, "someone will be right with you" or anything of that nature. They just walked back and forth past me, never giving me any eye contact. Once the woman if front of me placed her order, the cashier walked away and started doing something else. Clearly I hadn't ordered, otherwise I would have been in the order pick-up area right? When I asked for assistance, the young lady that was preparing the drinks rudely said, "someone will be with you when they have time". WTF!!YEAH, I don't tolerate disrespect, neither do I wink at stupid!!!! Unfortunately, its not the first unpleasant experience I've had at this particular location. I have the store managers name, and will be contacting the corporate office to file a complaint.
