1star for not being open when on yelp it said it was going to be. But! My rating will change when I actually get to try their beers, more importantly their bbq

You must experience this Brewery! The atmosphere is family friendly! They allow your fur babies as well. The beef prime rib is seasoned to perfection! Your palette will thank you. They are l only open Saturday and Sunday! You must also try the Cole slaw and their home made pickled blend mixture and their giant sized chocolate chip cookies. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a really simple menu and you order from a machine at the counter! There are restrooms and ample seating! There are numerous beers you can choose from and they sell hats and t-shirts with the Strand Brewery logo and information. I love the artwork on the wall. Grab your family and friends and go experience this amazing brown wrapped food experience which is delightful!!

The brewery itself is nice and spacious with ample parking. They seem to have a nice selection of beer as well. But I went for the APL BBQ that day. The menu is very limited with basically 3 mains: pork ribs, beef ribs, and pulled pork. Each meal is meant for around 2 people so go with a friend. I got the pork ribs with an extra side of cornbread. The ribs were tender but not quite fall off the bone (don't think it's supposed to be). The ribs were not drenched in sauce and the sauce was pretty sweet. I enjoyed them but I'm not sure it's something I would crave. But the cornbread! Now that is some good stuff! Definitely wouldn't mind eating that every day!

Would love to give 5 stars but never got to try it. I waited in line 20 minutes to hear “sorry we ran out.” They’re open from 12-5 pm on Saturday. Shouldn’t be a known popular spot and then run out by 1:30. Need to plan better than that imho. That’s a little soon. That being said, the place was spotless clean, staff friendly and apologetic. Very cool atmosphere. Being a bbq fanatic I was looking forward to good Q and drove an hour to try it. Some other time I guess. Food wise all I saw getting served before they stopped serving was some good looking pork ribs sold by full rack with two slices of toast and sauce drizzled on it as seen in IG videos. Also looked like there was pulled pork sammiches available. Also saw stacked up premade sides of slaw and cornbread I think. That looks like all they were serving this Saturday. Didn’t see any other offerings like brisket, links, beef ribs or chicken. If you’re gonna go get there right when they open if you want any food. Also, they don’t answer the phone. I tried calling for 20-30 minutes to verify if they were open and what was on the days menu. All I got was a machine. So don’t call just go and hope for the best. To be fair I will give an updated rating AFTER I try the food if I get the chance.

1 star because I got hyped up only to be disappointed and I’m not from the area.Went all the way there on a Friday ( 14th October) and it’s closed. So better call in to check if you’re making plans.

Nice place to grab some lunch and beers. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Came here for an APL (Adam Perry Lang) bbq popup and it did not disappoint. Food popups/food trucks and breweries are a great combo IMO. Would definitely come back

I give strand 5 stars. But APL BBQ needs to learn how to satisfy its customers. We were in line at 12:05 mind you they open at noon and the beef ribs were already 86 after an hour of standing in line. I don’t recommend anyone wasting their time with this pop up shop. And where are the sides? This place is definitely lacking.

I enjoyed my visit to Strand Brewing. I've tried Strand beers around town and found them quite drinkable. So, when I saw APL bbq was doing a residency there, I decided to check it out. The Saturday I visited, my friend from Colorado was in town and we spend a fun afternoon drinking beer, eating AMAZING bbq and catching up. I enjoyed their Atticus IPA, my friend had an Atticus and a hazy (forgot the name), he liked them both. We sat outside for a while, then moved inside for a bit. Casual, low-key place - I enjoyed it. 4 stars, will try again soon. APL BBQ is awesome, what a great collaboration.

A few months ago we met up with some friends at Strand Brewing to celebrate a friends birthday and because they also had a guest chef that was offering a fried chicken plate which is slightly different than the usually bbq offering that is available most of the time. Overall we thought the food was ok but rather pricey. I think what really stood out was the beer offerings. My wife and i ended up getting a tasting flight which allowed us to choose 4 different beers each. Just a general tip, the tasting flights are limited to the amount of glasses they have available which runs out very quickly. Therefore if your interested in the tasting flight, you need to go early. Overall just a great casual place to hang out for a drink and a bite to eat.

Great place to hang out and get drinks. The space is pretty huge with both inside/outside tables. The food trucks will vary, but I'm sure they've got some good picks.

COOL PLACE. Absolutely massive inside with the cutest string lights. Great outdoor seating area with umbrellas and potted plants. Got a house made hard seltzer, mango (4.8%), which was super good. Really enjoyed. It was in a can, so they opened it and poured it in a jar for me (apparently you're not allowed to buy and drink from cans on the property?). Wish they had it on tap. Lots of nonalcoholic bevvies for non-drinking friends and a food truck outside. Good vibes and tons of free parking. Will 100% be back.

Best time with a group of friends. We ordered our APL bbq meals, got some beers, and sat outside under an umbrella. Perfect way to hang out with people on a beautiful California afternoon.Be sure to check out the new merchandise and fridge full of 6 packs.

A BREWERY WITH A BBQ POP UP?! Yes please. Marcus' fried chicken is slap ya mama good. Quote me on it. This brewery has awesome flights that paired well with the bbq. 10/10
