Man, I hate giving bad reviews or 1-star ratings.... but it is what it is, at least to my experience. The worst Italian sandwich place, wasted $12.50 for a large Italian sub....

I have been coming to this plaza for years but never stopped by this place. My daughter and I wanted to try it out. We order the golden turkey sandwich- Large because the owner didn't bother to write a note that they had no more regular bread so we had no choice about the matter! Now the sandwich was Ok nothing no brag about. The reason I am writing this is because I ordered the chef salad look it's cheap chopped lettuce for sandwiches and that's it! We paid $29.50 for everything. Inflation is here I get that but at least have the courtesy to make a saldad that is worth $10.50 don't give me this horrible food you call a salad. My daughter didn't eat the sandwich just a small portion. Thanks so Much but we never coming back! And last the q owner treated me like an Imbecile trying to make me pay with my debit card telling me how to use it ? Thanks but I live in 2022 and know how to use a debit or credit card. Take your money somewhere else. This place should have a new owner or manager!!

Food quality can sometimes cover up minor blemishes. Having worked here, and been a customer, the family business vibes are part of the charm. However, shortly after I began working there, i noticed small bugs with long attena, pretty regularly. Turns out these bugs were roaches, and it was quite a heavy infestation. Im talking about living inside the wheels of the ingredient cart. They wouldn't have been found had i not found them. Instead of using a professional service, Ineffective DIY treatments were used, with insufficient results. Amazed this place manages to have 4 1/2 stars! Be ready to wait for an inordinate amount of time while they meander around their facility pretending you aren't waiting for your sandwich. The prices aren't cheap either. The sandwiches I got were an Italian sub and a Turkey sub and they were decent but you can do better at a variety of local shops. They say it's an Italian deli but I don't see anything Italian about it. The potato salad was one of the worst I've had and didn't come with the sandwich. I watched a lady ask for a credit when she found out her bag of chips was $4! That took a few minutes. Didn't want to give an old couple a lousy rating but my experience felt like I was being ignored or discriminated upon but I'm Caucasian so it wasn't that. I think you have to be a regular to get decent service. So sandwiches aren't bad Sides aren't good Prices are bad Service is pathetic

A Must Try! I've been going to Sub Club for 8+ years and everything I've ever tried has always delicious. I also love to support small family businesses. Sub Club is a staple in the Torrance community and there are always locals in there enjoying the food.

Great sandwiches made by good people. I've been coming here for decades but not much in recent years because I do not live in the area anymore. I visited today to get a small roast beef and swiss and they still remembered me. The sandwich was delicious as always and tasted just as I remembered. Support your locals and do yourself a favor by spending your money here if you're feeling like a sandwich.

Surprised at the high overall rating of this place. The sandwiches are good, but I'm docking a star for price and another for service. People talk about the owners being sweet, but from my multiple visits they are rude and / or awkward. One example is I was telling the male owner what I wanted on my sandwich and he cut me off, telling me to tell him what I didn't want on the sandwich instead of telling him what I did want on my sandwich. During another visit I ordered two of their small / round sandwiches and added bacon and avocado to one. After being rung up for two small sandwiches the bill was over $30 when I was expecting it to be $17 based on the menu prices! I started looking at the menu to see how this could be and the female owner said it was due to my additions, but then I pointed out one of their standard sandwiches that had everything I added was at the regular price of a small sandwich, about $8. She said the cost was higher due to getting more of everything on the sandwich. Upon receiving my sandwich they skimped on the toppings, but essentially charged me double. To summarize, good sandwiches but not good value and awkward / rude service.
