Just discovered a Sushi place. Nice and clean spot! Polite service. Can't wait to try a few items. Cute Togo packaging

I ordered a sushi platter and when I picked it up and paid, they charged around $8 more than the price shown on the website menu - like a 10% or so markup. I had forgotten my phone at home so I couldn't show them, however I did express my surprise at being charged more, told them about the discrepancy, and urged them to fix it. It's been a few weeks since, and I see that they have still not updated the price on the website. I don't think this is even legal. The sushi was fine, but they only gave a few tiny packets of wasabi for a large platter, and barely any ginger. It wasn't even close to enough for 72 pieces!I get that times are tough but cheaping out on those small items, plus advertising a different price than what you actually charge is shady behavior. There are plenty of other sushi places in the South Bay. I won't return.

The BEST service every time I come. I have a soft spot for this place.I always end up wishing I had more room in my belly, because I always opt for the sushi options (more on that later), but their curry rice and teriyaki chicken/noodle bowls always look so appetizing too! There's truly something for everyone to try. I typically get the Three Item Combo, because it's be ridiculous not to. It's an epic deal for $14.95! You get three items and a miso soup--you can get up to THREE ROLLS for this price. This time, I got two signature rolls and an order of shrimp tempura. It's so nice that it's so customizable, and you can also get the Two Option combo if you're not as hungry. The service is what always gets me. The people here are nice, I can't help but want to be a patron. But then once you receive your order you receive another reminder why. The food is GREAT and a great price point. Kozo is nestled between a lot of other restaurant options, and yet I choose this spot every time. Go support! :)

The service is always friendly and very efficient. Whatever we choose at our many visits is always delicious. It is our ‘go to’ Japanese restaurant!

Tried Kozo Sushi after receiving an offer on Grubhub. I had the tuna lovers roll which includes 8 pieces of spicy tuna and 5 tuna sashimi. The tuna tasted fresh and soft texture. Will definitely be a returning customer.

The 5 piece salmon is top notch, as well as the hand rolls. The fish are extremely fresh and sushi expertly made. I highly recommend Kozo Sushi if you are in the area.

On Saturday, we ordered the two special. Salmon lovers and Eel steak roll & sushi set. I was very impressed by how fresh it was. The salmon and eel steak were pretty fatty. I will definitely come back and try other items.

Kozo Sushi Kitchen is the new Sushi Boy of Rolling Hills Plaza. Great for lunch when trying to have a bento box or sushi set. I like getting their sushi set which comes with a roll of your choice and 5 pieces of nigiri. The sushi tastes good here! This place is great for takeout but if you'd like to dine there, seating is inside. There is free parking right in front of the food spot. The staff was nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to other people.

Delicious sushi for even better prices - you can't beat the value here. Both my dad and I got the Miyabi plate and this is honestly the best value; 12 pieces of nigiri for $17 is something you can't find often. It has uni, unagi, ebi, and more - a lot of the seafood that is on the steeper end, but at Kozo it's wrapped in the $17 box. Of course the quality isn't as good as some higher end sushi places, but what you're measuring here is value, and you can be satisfied without breaking your bank too much.
