I hate to leave bad public reviews but there was no way to directly report this problem to corporate to handle privately.Until recently this was where my friends and I would meet up to study. Not anymore. The current evening crew have deliberately driven us away. How?They close the lobby half an hour before the official time on Coffee Bean's web site and the front door. Evidently so they can get an early start on cleaning, even though the drive through is open 2 hours after the lobby closes. That messes up students who meet to study together, but then unexpectedly get thrown out early. It's not just my group that get irritated with it, but everybody inside.Secondly, for quite a while now they put the air conditioning in the lobby on its absolute coldest setting and leave it that way for hours, freezing out the customers. People are literally wearing jackets, hoodies and beanies to stay warm inside, even though the outside weather is in the 70s and 80s. Meanwhile, the employee area temperature is so toasty that they are wearing t-shirts only. It seems that the evening crew doesn't want customers staying inside because that means they might have more to clean up.Collectively it's bad customer treatment, and you can't report it to the manager when the manager is behind the mistreatment. So the employees have won. We've moved our study group and our business across the street to McDonald's.

Very limited parking, Out of whipped cream. Sugar, napkins and stirrers need to be asked for. Coffee was also bitter.

It's 6:30 pm on a rainy night (1/3/23) and the place is empty and it doesn't matter it could be filled with people and you still get treated like your not welcomed the coffee bean has better coffee and tea then the bigger competition (Starbucks) but even with better product I still choose SB because there workers are so friendly and really make you fill welcomed .

The CBTL on Crenshaw off the 405 is old school, and has a cozy and inviting atmosphere- and thankfully, a hold out on the old style decor they were known for. We opted to "coffee in ". The cappuccino was on point, they have excellent decaf lattes if you want one, and do have a good selection of pastries. They also have a drive thru, which is cool, if you're on the go. Our order was good of course. At other CBTLs they used to plate your pastries for you. I kind of miss that extra detail. Most CBTLs I go to are busy, and so I get you can't expect that every time. But our location was not busy at all. So I feel they left off what I wanted which was a little bit more service. Do stop by this location a bit. It's much better coffee than bucks and I will always consider CBTL the place to beat.

Didn't get a chance to actually go in but the service was quick and the results were delicious.

I love my coffee bean! It's the employees who are the absolute best. Went in looking for the purple tumbler and while they didn't have it they are going above and beyond to let me know when they do get it in. And winter dream tea latte for the holiday win!

Coffee was very average! Being a non local and with so many of these coffee shops around in LA area I wanted to give it a shot! Went inside and ordered medium roast and they mentioned Light and Dark can be mixed.Coffee was not hot enough and did not have fresh brew taste!

In the dim-lit cafe of despair, a forlorn barista (Luis), with hands as cold as winter's breath, refused to mend my latte's woes. The bitter brew, a macabre concoction, tormented my palate with each sip, leaving me stranded in a caffeinated abyss. Oh, the agony of unheeded pleas, as my latte, like a raven, cawed of disappointment, echoing through the hollow chambers of my discontent.

A nicely sunlit shop with ample space for laptops. Quick service, chipper staff. Ice blended hazelnut fine. Prices around $5. Usual credit card machine begging for tips for no table service - ignore given the $15+/hr LA minimum wage.
