It is a very lively bar. The seating isn't very comfortable. The food is good but for the price you get very little. They always have some kind of band or event going on.

Purchased tickets to see a comedy show, about 4 hours before the show I got a call that the show was cancelled and I never received a refund. I called about 6 different times and they said the owner was going to call me back, to this day I have not ONCE received a phone call or a refund. It’s been 3 months

We just had our second time here. Our first time, we had an amazing experience, Ashton gave wonderful service and the food was spectacular. So we were happy to go there while the house was being serviced. It was very early and there were only a couple people in the place. Upon our arrival, a drunk guy was being ushered out. Having been that bartender, I sympathized.
I went out to the car to get my wallet and saw the drunk guy get into his car and leave. An employee of The End was watching this. I was shocked that he wouldn't do anything to stop him drunk driving. It was before 4pm, kids from Calle Mayor Middle school were out and about, and street workers were out fixing Anza. I shuddered to think that a stumbling drunk guy driving his truck could easily hit any one of them. I asked the employee if he was okay with this. He said, what do you want me to do? As an ex-bartender, there's lots of things I have done to prevent a drunk person from driving. Give them food and water. Keep them there and sober them up. Threaten to call the cops. And if that fails, actually call them. Which is what I told the guy. His answer? Well the cops will take too long to get here. Really?? You know where every TPD car is at this hour? He then said "I can't make a citizens arrest." What? Actually, trying to make a citizens arrest would get the guy out of his car maybe?? I didn't have my phone or else I would have called 911. I just looked at him and shook my head.
Later, when our food was delivered, I discovered that the employee had his revenge. The brisket dish I ordered that I'd loved previously, was terrible. He was the cook. My spouse, however, loved their dish, even more than last time.
But they allowed their overserved patron out into the community they supposedly are a proud member of. when someone shows you who they are, believe them. They don’t care about this community. They just wanted that guy‘s money and they didn’t care who he hurt.
EDIT: thank you for the apology. I suggest you apologize to the middle school you're across the street from, and the neighbors you allowed the drunk driver to plow through. Seriously though. How could you just...not care? Comp the guy a meal next time. Give him a fake cocktail. Steal his keys. Invite him to the secret green room. Just keep him out of the car....and the next thousand times you will deal with this exact scenario. Please. Try to care.

This is a really fun place to go Good venues good people great service It's a little hideaway but nice and comfy.
Great place to chill and watch live music! Cool, unpretentious patrons, and the food is damn good too. I recommend The End Burger and the Italian sandwich (I forget the name), just delicious. One day I'm definitely going to try The Holy Grail (smoked meats platter)...!
Festive and the band was great. The poppers were incredible.

My favorite local bar/restaurant. Always new food and drinks on the menu and everything hits. Service is top-notch and the patio is great for a nice day. Come here every Sunday during football season for New York Giants games and they also pack out for UFC cards.
