I knew this place wasn't going to be good because they open late morning at 11am any good tamale spot opens at 5-6am I order a cheese and jalapeno tamale the stuffing was poor very little cheese and one sliver of jalapeno. It is a big tamale but your basically paying for masa. Also order a super dupper chicken verde. They gave me a cheese and jalapeno split it down the middle and put grilled chicken on it and poured on the green salsa and topped it off with a half blackened avocado. Huge disappointment. First and last time.

It's a nice, cozy place to come and eat. It's quiet and serene. The parking is the only problem, so I'd recommend you call in your orders.

Was in Torrance yesterday and had the opportunity to come by this place and try the Super Duper Tamale. This was one of those places I have heard so much about and always see on food review channels so I felt like it was a must try. The man at the front desk was really friendly to my friends and I. He greeted us warmly when we walked in and basically explained that we should get the super duper tamale. He made a very strong case as I do not know any other businesses that sell this food item.
Between three of us, it was definitely still a lot of food, but we were still able to finish it all. It was very good and filling. I am sure you can tell from the name, but the portion is enormous and it even comes with rice and beans. We also ordered some of the fresh watermelon agua fresca they make and it is so refreshing and just the perfect beverage to wash the tamale down with.
The inside of the place is also clean, with several tables to sit and eat at. Also, they have a salsa bar with red and green salsa. They were both spicy which I liked and tasted good with the tamale.
It feels good to be able to support a small business like this one which has made a name for itself through a unique food item. I enjoyed seeing all the awards and plaques and recognition that are on display behind the counter. It did put a smile on my face!

The Tamale Man makes some of the best tamales I’ve ever had! The flavor is outstanding, packed with tender chicken and rich sauce—definitely not your average tamale. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, and you can really taste that they’re made with love. Truly unique and delicious. The Tamale Man outdid himself, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

The super duper tamale can feed three people literally, the tamale is well worth the price and the beans and rice are to die for. Small business but his tamales are huge and tasty, he’s friendly and his establishment is quiet and always clean even though there’s transients wondering the block

Microwaves food, terrible customer service, watches costumers to see how many sauces they pack to see if they get charged extra. Fly’s on the wall, flying around food.

The owner is rude as hell towards his customers. He sit and watches you like a hawk waiting on his prey. After confronting him he talks mess then want to apologize after the fact that things shouldn’t have gone that way. This is the 2nd time of him nd I having a conflict nd I’m a supporting customer that comes and buys 2to3 plates per purchase and that’s twice a week. I will no longer support him or have to take another far ass drive to be mistreated. I’ll keep my ass at THE TAMALE HOUSE in the valley from now on

I went here for the first time ever although I live like 5 minutes away. Soon as I walked in he immediately started trying to offer me the loaded tamale which I said no too. I asked for a wet burrito with rice and beans on the side and he stated he couldn't do that. I then asked for a burrito with no rice and beans inside, just meat, cheese and sour cream and he stated they don't have that. I then asked for a regular wet burrito as it is and got my order incorrect, burrito wasn't wet. Customer Service was so bad I just took the order as it was and didn't say anything. It's almost like he becomes upset for not getting the tamal, and god forbid you try to add or remove an ingredient. Carne asada burrito was overall good, very flavorful just extremely greasy, it literally leaked grease from the bottom as i took bites. Probably won't be going back.
