This is a pick up and take home or eat in the parking lot joint (no seating). Not a big deal. Tacos were ok great with cheese and salsa, but the beef was ok and a little underwhelming. Service was on point.

They never open what’s the point of having a restaurant
Great Mexican food. This is take out only with a limited menu but great service and an easy option for take home. Better to call ahead. Closed on Mondays.

Great Tito Style Tacos. Food is top notch for this genre of Mexican food. Awkward Layout with table blocking the front door.

This Taco restaurant is Take Out Only. You order at the door, pay, and get a number. Just wait for your number to be called.
The person working the counter is friendly and answered questions.
The menu is on the window and on the door. They have a few options. Simple menu.
They do accept credit card. It's NOT cash only.
Ordered The Super Nachos. It's HUGE and very filling. It was too salty, IMO.
A la carte taquitios. Got one chicken and one beef. Both were very crunchy but bland. It came with a side guacamole, which seemed watery and bland. It tasted ok by itself. The salsa was good and gave flavor to the taquitios.
Tom's plate with chicken was also bland. It came with a side of rice and beans. They were both just ok. Nothing special.
The free chips and salsa were good. Although the chips were too salty.
I was hoping it would be good. Unfortunately, it was a let down.

It's a very informal setup being to-go only, but the tacos are very good.

The Best To-Go Tacos in the SB!

In town for work and wanted to find a taco spot for lunch. This one was close so walked over to see what it was about. Service was great, the cashier was friendly and efficient. This place is the type that you literally stand at the front door and order, then wait for your food. There is no seating so please know that. The food was ready quickly and I wasn’t disappointed. Got the beef taquitos and a beef taco, which came with chips and salsa. All were delish, my only suggestion is to get some more seasoning on the meat. You can add salsa to help though. Prices were super reasonable as well! Worth a visit!

Love this place but it has gotten really exspensive.
Came by to try it out after a recommendation and I'm very under whelmed. It's not hispanic food and it doesn't really make sense until you think about taco bell how it really isn't mexican food but you know they sell if it is. Well this is no different it's a mom and pop version of taco bell except the food in my opinion is not very enjoyable and very awkward. I tried some tacos and nachos and the tacos are kind of like jack and the box fried tacos and the nachos are just beans chips with a meat salsa gravy doesn't make sense. On top of that the tacos are expensive for what they are $4 and change while the nachos are under $11. This place is not for me doesn't make sense. Also don't expect to eat in as it's only take out.
Same as titos tacos. I think there related, only here they don't charge extra for cheese. I've had better elsewhere.
The food here is absolute ass. Cashier was nice, but wow the food was super disappointing. I ended up throwing my burrito away because it was gross.
Let me begin by saying I have dreamt about these tacos for 20 years. The first time I had Tom’s Tacos was when they had a restaurant on Beach Boulevard. I was 15 years old (22 years ago), and they were the BEST crispy tacos I’ve ever had. There was something about the perfectly seasoned meat, cheese, fresh lettuce, and that unforgettable crunch—it all just hit differently.
After two decades of living in various parts of California (too far for a casual taco run) and even in Utah, I FINALLY got my chance! We drove an hour to Torrance for these legendary tacos, and they did NOT disappoint. The moment I took my first bite, I literally cried. It was like a party in my mouth, an explosion of flavors I’d been chasing for years.
Tom’s Tacos, you are more than just food—you’re a memory, a joy, and now, forever a piece of my heart. Thank you for being just as incredible as I remembered.
