In town for work and wanted to find a taco spot for lunch. This one was close so walked over to see what it was about. Service was great, the cashier was friendly and efficient. This place is the type that you literally stand at the front door and order, then wait for your food. There is no seating so please know that. The food was ready quickly and I wasn’t disappointed. Got the beef taquitos and a beef taco, which came with chips and salsa. All were delish, my only suggestion...
Let me begin by saying I have dreamt about these tacos for 20 years. The first time I had Tom’s Tacos was when they had a restaurant on Beach Boulevard. I was 15 years old (22 years ago), and they were the BEST crispy tacos I’ve ever had. There was something about the perfectly seasoned meat, cheese, fresh lettuce, and that unforgettable crunch—it all just hit differently.

just a takeout window, items including tacos are fairly expensive ($5-6/taco). the shells are a little harder and crunchier than tito's and flavor of beef is a little blander, but there's more cheese which is nice. also the kalua pork is very nice, and the burrito is supposed to be quite good. at that price its OK, not notably good or bad, overall.
