This small old school sandwich shop and liquor store serves up some absolutely amazing tasty sandwiches at a great value just off Hawthorne on Newton, south of PCH. The really nice lady working there mentioned she had been there over 20 years and the store had been there since the 40's. We tried the hot pastrami sandwich and turkey avocado as well as their house salad. The salad is large and fresh and for like 8 bucks.. steal of deal. The pastrami was excellent.. not...
The lady at the register was super nice and hospitality , I had the best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in a while.(torch)?I’m coming back again before I go back to Washington Dc.

I've lived in the area since 1968 and this place has been a real pleasure for deli sandwiches and liquor and other needs. They really do have some great sandwiches great well made perfect the best and that's what this place is known for. They also have a large variety of wine and other hard liquor and of course
