The food is excellent - loved the spice and flavor in the spicy Thai fried rice with black rice and Pad kee mao, as well as the taro boba tea. Ayla was amazing - we were a party of 6 and hadn’t realized that 18% tip was included, tipped again. Ayla pointed that out to us - an extra star for her honesty. We’ll back soon !

We had a great meal at Ubon for lunch. The food was very fresh and flavorful and they had some unique options on the menu. The server was a very nice gentleman who made good suggestions. The dining room is pretty compact and I imagine they get pretty busy as the food is excellent. The peanut sauce with the fresh rolls is very distinct and better than others I have tried while the crying tiger beef is extremely tender and comes with another excellent sauce. The Tom Yum broth was perfection and the sizzling seafood was very tender and tasty and not super spicy but a bit of a kick. Overall this is a great place to grab a meal while shopping or anytime. The location is the far corner of the shopping center back near the in and out burger and mini IHOP. This is some great tasting Thai food with big flavors.. the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center which is all free of course. Overall this place was great and we will be back to try more of the menu at Ubon Thai Kitchen.

My wife and I love this place so much that we’ve eaten here about 2x a week for 4 years and still get excited every time. The staff and owners are all extremely nice people as well!

Horrible unwelcoming hostess on a Saturday night. I was charging my EV next to Aldi's/ChicFilet across busy Crenshaw and thought after a long exhausting day working in Burbank, I'd treat myself to a nice meal on my own. Boy! was I wrong Dragon Lady immediately saw me and said the kitchen was closed!??? It was 8:20 on a Saturday night..
Meh...I've had their food..it's nothing extraordinary... Lots of other better Thai spots like Smile Thai on PCH five minutes away is far better.
She probably dismissed me since I was a solo diner and the tip wouldn't amount to much.

Ubon Thai is one of our go-to spots for consistently fresh and delicious Thai food. The staff are always polite, quick, and efficient—even remembering our names at one point, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it a great place to unwind whether it's a quiet night or a busy dinner rush.
We always order the kawprow, satay, and the curry-stuffed wontons—each dish is packed with flavor and always served fresh. Even when it’s crowded (and it often is), the experience is totally worth it.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Thai food with great service in a comfortable setting.
