This was my first time there for lunch. The price was very reasonable for the food options and I was not disappointed nor was I blown away. If I could though.. I would give it a half star more on the food.
This place is permanantly closing on the 26th of June and you can tell why. I had pretty depressing dining experience.
Amazing restaurant for fresh and cooked seafood. They have a wide selection that includes meats, dim sum, dessert, and even a tepenyaki grill to order. Staff were friendly and attentive as well. I highly recommend! Sad to see them move to Glendale so go now if you're in the Torrance area. ?
Good food assortment, and I love the seafood selection. If you're going to spend $97 for two people, better bring your appetite. I still enjoy coming here since it's easy to find a food choice my son will eat and he can be picky. I will be returning for an easy place to eat and run.
No go / Price = above average / service = average / cleanliness = above average / parking = plenty part of mall / interior = Vegas style fancyI visited Las Vegas buffet during dinner time on a weekday which cost around $30 before tip, if I recollect correctly. After hearing about this place from multiple sources, I was so excited to finally be able to eat here. I was most excited to eat all you can eat lobster. To my disappointment, I found that the lobster is only served during Sunday dinner. Nonetheless, there were plentiful options including the crab legs so I was still relatively excited. But then... I started making my rounds to the different buffet items. Truly disappointed for the hype as I soon found out that Las Vegas buffet is not what I had in mind.I did not find the majority of dishes were up to par for my standards at a buffet. Keep in mind that that will look different than a la carte as a quality will always be less. However, I have been to a number of buffets that were up to par to restaurants and some even better. I typically have a favorite dish or a few dishes at buffets but at this one, there was nothing up to that level for me.To improve, Las Vegas buffet would have to bring up many levels for all of the dishes that they have. It is a below mediocre Chinese buffet, at best, with the marketing of fancy items like lobster and crab legs.
Parking: Part of the mall parking.
For a really good seafood experience come to this place. Baby clams are the best and food is always warm
Vegas Seafood is located in an open mall in Torrance. Parking is free in the huge mall lot and you will find a space easily. This is a buffet where you get in line outside and pay. It is about 39$ for dinner plus a 10% surcharge, what that is for is beyond me. You will also pay for your drinks, but there are free refills if you can find someone to get it for you.The buffet is huge. There is something for everyone. They have a lot of Asian food. They also have crab legs at dinner and lobster (1) on Sunday for a much higher price.Their offering of sushi is quite good and they have some great Asian rice and Asian dishes. They even have garlic toast and great ice cream. They also have the normal things you would get at any buffet, mashed potatoes, lots of cooked veg. and some really nice fresh fruit. Their deserts are okay.We found the service to be a bit slow, our server brought our drinks and we never saw him again. The place is ever so clean. The food was good enough that we will be back. Have fun.
Not a bad deal for weekday lunch, but not someplace I would think of on my own. Joined family here after funeral services for my uncle and I thought they did a decent job of taking our drink orders and providing refills for the large group.Food is hit and Miss though. The one dish I really enjoyed was the hot and sour soup! One of the best versions i have ever tried. Clam chowder and miso were a big disappointment though.I loved that they had teppan, but the beef was chewy, very thick and veggies limited. They have so many other options, there probably something for everyone here. I really can’t recall each dish because i tried a small piece of almost every seafood option.Definitely worth a try and decent value if you can’t decide on what you want to eat for lunch :)
Went for a Saturday lunch. Nice selection of seafood and sushi. Staff was good about removing empty dishes. Other than dry chicken wings, we enjoyed our meal.
Every Sunday while in season you get 1 ticket per customer for Lobster. It's not a whole one but it is meaty and good. But that salt & pepper crab is AMAZING.

We pass this location almost every time we come to the mall so we decided to try it during lunch timeFood/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 -They have the typical offerings of an Asian buffet, a teppanyaki grill, some sushi, and ayce ice cream.Good: The raw mussels with chili sauce was pretty good. The fried chicken leg was surprisingly flavorful and juicy but it is Asian seasoning so think more like turmeric. The shu mai tasted more like a meatball but the SO really enjoyed it. There was a good fruit/dessert spread with a good options in flavorsMeh: the sushi rice is hard and too much sauce on the majority of the roll. The clams weren't cleaned well and were grainy. Most items were VERY salty. This may be because we went at an off time (around 2 PM) but many items were chewy or dry so it could have been sitting in the warmer for longer than usualAmbience: 5/5 - we enjoy the soft music and the restaurant is really clean. Some of the seats are a little beat up but they cover it with a cushionService: 5/5 - everyone was friendly and helpfulValue for price: 3/5 - cheaper for lunch price but was not super impressed with the food
Not back to what it was before the COVID pandemic. Food is still good but the cuisine has changed and especially the dessert bar is different from the cakes to the ice cream. It’s all changed and unfortunately, most of the people in my party were in agreement. One vegetarian choose not to eat because the selection of vegetarian dishes was unsatisfactory. The retailer intake person didn’t hear our drink orders correctly so one of us didn’t get served a drink. They’re passing the crab out as “complementary” even though the price for one dinner has seemingly doubled. I just made my last visit to this restaurant.I did notice that they are still garnering a line to get in the place and families look happy to be there. Some other things I noticed was no music when they used to play good music and show sports on television but they had their TVs off. There are now signs not waste food and that is fine but it’s a buffet so people usually taste recipes for the first time at that type of restaurant. I want to be clear, the quality of the food is good. They turned to coke for beverages and I personally don’t like that brand.I hope they regain some strength in the coming months because there is at least one competitor moving in on the same row soon and with that kind of atmosphere that they are maintaining, it might be easy for the competition to make headway in their market. There was no reason to complain to a manager because I think they were running there play they way they want. All crab passes have a date stamp.
It was an average food...for $30 dinner weekend, it wasnt that great to come back. We might as well go to a normal Chinese buffet and expect most of the food here to be there for less the price... This place used to be good when we first discovered it like 3-4 yrs ago. Super disappointed since it wasn't the same food that I liked when we first found it. Half a lobster for dinner per guest only, any more than that is $6 per lobster eh. It wasn't that good anyways.
The kind of place for family bonding. Food tripping.
