I got the course and it was delicious! The food was plated and displayed nicely and each had its unique flavors that i enjoyed. They have a large menu with a variety of foods making it a great place to dine in with a big group.

This is a nice Japanese restaurant with Italian touch. Tuna carpaccio tastes great and lobster pasta with uni sauce is a winner.

It was our first time and had take out. Steaks were cooked perfectly, staffs were courteous, and the sashimi were fresh! Melted in our mouths. Next time we'll definitely eat there.

Oishi desu!! (It's delicious) I found this place by just searching for Japanese food near the botanical garden up the street. Needless to say, my search didn't fail me. The omakase meal set was so good!! We went here for Valentine's Day and I made a reservation a week ahead of time, just to be safe, but I don't think it was necessary. I think walk ins were being accepted. We both got the omakase set, one NY steak and one filet mignon. So good! Cooked to perfection. Ending the meal with dessert, we had a wide variety of selection. We got one green tea crème brûlée (WHICH IS SO GOOD! Would come back just for this) and one mango cake, which was also so good, tasting like a gummy. Overall, this place is presentable, and also surprisingly affordable for what you get. I would come back here for a special occasion.

I've driven by this place for 10 years and finally came in with my family. Food quality, portions and service were all stellar. I would definitely come back. Side note - Fries were great

I had a wonderful meal. I went with the multi course meal. Each one better than the last. The price was as expected for such a quality meal. I especially enjoyed the black miso cod.

Craving some finer Japanese food and decided to go here. Surprised with how delicious the pasta was with lobster. The vibe was very personal with dim lighting. I really enjoyed my time here and will go again in the future. The service was also fantastic!

First timers and was blown away! Can't believe we have never tried this place. Customer service was excellent. Waitress greeted and seated us right away. Very kind and thoughtful. Good thing she suggested cook to medium for the steak. Ambiance- not overly fancy but the place gave me some really comfortable vibes. It didn't make me feel out of place which I loved. It's super clean which I liked and you can tell the place has history. It's not modern but tells a story. I can't believe it's been around for 20 years.... Food was exceptionally good!!!!! We ordered the NY steak and Ribeye but it also came with appetizers, sashimi, soup, entree, dessert, tea or coffee. The house sauce paired with the steak or ribeye was phenomenal. I tried the Ribeye streak and it melted in my mouth. The NY steak was great for me because I don't like too fatty. The squash soup was warm and heavenly. But what truly blew me away was the marinated miso cream cheese... that was to die for.... Hubby says even their warmed up bread and salted butter was tasty. Tiramisu was yummy! I want to try the cod next time. Will be coming back for anniversary celebration, birthdays, and other special occasions and even just regular casual lunch or dinner.

We used to visit this restaurant as a family from time to time. The other day, we invited friends and family for lunch, and we were treated the worst we've ever experienced. First, I made a reservation by phone a few days in advance for Saturday's opening time of 11:30, and secured seats for 6 people, including 2 two year-old kids. On Saturday we entered the restaurant after waiting outside for our reservation time, the waitress said that we did not have a reservation and refused to let us in. I told her I definitely made a reservation, but she said she couldn't find a reservation and there were no seats available. I showed her my history on the cell phone and told her that I had made the reservation correctly, but even though we were the first customers of the day and there were plenty of seats available, she told me that I had made a mistake just pointing it out. This exchange took several minutes, and the restaurant allowed the outside customers to go to the table first. Eventually, she reluctantly let us sit, but she didn't even bring us menus until I asked, and it took us 20 minutes from entering to ordering! The waitress' attitude was emotional throughout and treated us with contempt. My friend's 2-year-old child had nap time, so they ordered a quick menu such as fish sashimi that would have been served immediately, but the dish was still not served an hour after entering the restaurant. When I asked the waitress why, she said that she intended to serve it with other one's main dishes. Oh my god! She decided the timing of serving her food without consulting us. Unfortunately, they had no choice but to leave the store without eating anything because it was nap time for the kids. I sincerely apologized to my friend. After they left, I spoke with the restaurant manager, who admitted the all mistake and apologized, he remembered my phone reservation. But I still don't understand why the restaurant would treat its customers this badly. I lost the trust of a dear friend through this experience. I'm very disappointed as I liked the restaurant. In particular, this waitress's attitude is the worst for a customer service professional. I think the company needs to improve.

My husband and I had another beautiful evening at one of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Torrance, celebrating our Church Wedding Anniversary. As usual we ordered the omakase and it was heaven! The chef exceeds with all dishes perfectly from the taste to presentation. The ambiance is peaceful, they have soft lighting and gives a romantic taste to the place. With their choice music of Bosa Nova covers which I LOVE! Customer service is superb. Kudos to Ray who was our waiter and provided outstanding service. Whom I also asked again and again to take a picture of my husband and I. Lol. Another evening, memory to cherish! Thank you so, so much!
