This is an INCREDIBLE Japanese spot- everything was delicious. We got the chef’s choice sashimi, the grilled eel (this one is a must try), and the bluefin tuna churaschu and sashimi bowls. 10/10 food, fast and polite service, fair prices for how good the quality of the fish was. Would absolutely come here again when I’m in town!

As someone who loves going to Japan and find soba as comfort food, this place rocks. Everything was great. The pork katsu was fried perfectly. Soba delicious. Will visit again when I'm back in LA.

Its all fresh and tasty. I have ordered three dishes to try out and it was all good. For chirashi, you might be disappointed if you wish alot of sushi on top of rice.

This is one of my go to places for authentic Japanese dining. I've enjoyed all of my meals here, and I've tried a wide range of dishes and specials. I highly recommend this spot, especially for lunch.

This used to be my favorite spot for sushi before they changed names. This was way before the pandemic actually. Recently on April 25 I went again and noticed that they had changed the names.

Anyway, my friends and I went on a Sunday evening at 5:30. And we basically closed out the spots a little after 8:30 when it rolled around we were kindly kicked out and realized they close at 9:00. I know it’s a Sunday, but that made me think to myself… They’re barely open!

OK, don’t add me for this… But I think my favorite part of this restaurant is their iced green tea served in a wine bottle. It was so good. We got two bottles.

Some of the other things we got included, beef tongue, salmon sashimi rice bowl etc. They were all good and shareable, but nothing mind blowing good. Maybe my memory serves me wrong but from what I remember it going there for family meals before the pandemic. The portion sizes were delicious and the cuts of raw salmon and tuna were out of this world. I just didn’t feel that same feeling this time.

This spot in Torrance is the best that I've tried so far in the area. I love their wide selection of dishes from fresh sashimi, to rice bowls! I can tell that each dish that I've tried were made from premium ingredients because it was loaded with amazing flavors.

I'm obsessed with their Beef and Unagi Rice Bowl. It comes with the fluffiest rice, and both meat were incredibly delicious! The Sashimi was sooo fresh as well.

This spot is also very spacious inside, and they even have some private rooms that are perfect for celebrating special occasions.

A must visit spot for sure if you love authentic Japanese food! I love how fast they serve the food and they provided excellent service too.

Sashimi omakase shipped directly from Osaka Seafood Market. Fresh and good price.
Meat was not as good, dishes tend to be saltier
My husband loves his sashimi, my parents did not like the salty flavor too much

Been here a couple times, both times had the 3 tuna bowl. Fish was excellent, rice was excellent, comes with a small salad and miso soup. Service is pretty fast once seated. Can be a wait to get a table tho.

7pm on a Saturday. Sold out of everything. Beef tongue? Sold out. Pressed sushi option 1? Sold out. Pressed sushi option. 2? Sold out. Trio-Don with uni? Sold out. Bowl was underwhelming with tiny portions. $15 for chicken karaage with no dipping sauce (or at least they forgot to drop it off)

Terrible. Will never return. Sadly for them, there’s no shortage of Japanese restaurants. This ain’t it.

If you go here, ask what they have before you sit down.

What’s funny is that they were sold out of the uni bowl but wife got the assorted bowl with uni. Hmm 😑

WARAKU is a one of the best authentic Japanese restaurant in the South Bay Area!
Seafood from Osaka, Japan. Clean and neat. Nice ambience. Vast menu; so many options to choose from. Sashimi excellent! Service is quick & efficient! Will definitely return.

A quiet, very competent izakaya with a menu that's not very large but for which each item is skillfully prepared. Drinks menu emphasizes wine, but includes plenty of traditionally Japanese tasty beverages. The chawanmushi is a standout, as are the sunomono. Wish I'd tried the sake / ikura bowl but after a bunch of small dishes, I was really full. Service is excellent. Prices are a little spendy, but what isn't, these days? Definitely a win for my restaurant radar.

Edited to add: Super friendly staff. You love to see it
