I had three tuna bowl. It did not meet the expectation, toros weren’t fatty enough.

Perfect place for dinner or lunch. Food is fresh, delicious and service is quick. We had a young man server, and he is very attentive and does a great job introducing new dishes. New for me at least.
Went here as a second option as my original spot didn't take reservations over 4 people. The food is fine here, but I was disappointed with the portion sizes of the sushi and other items. Perhaps it's because we got the omakase, but maybe it's because everyone is trying to save on costs, but keep the prices the same or higher.

A bit pricey. Got Don/bowl, sashimi is really fresh and tender, but beef is ordinary. Serving of the food is small based on the price.

The bowls are amazing in taste and value. The tuna and negi Toro are next level. Sad that I wasted 3 years not coming here when it was right there. It's divine every time. Pass on the shrimp tempura though.

I swear, this plaza is just a goldmine of amazing Japanese food, you can't go wrong with any of these places. Sashimi is life and you're frankly missing out if you haven't had any here yet. We're talking melt in your mouth sashimi.I am a sucker for blue fin tuna so what do you expect me to do except go for a blue fin tuna bowl? For the price you pay, you get a fairly healthy portion of tuna and rice and man is it fresh. Melting sashimi hits different especially when you aren't paying an arm and leg for it.Other noteworthy items include some appetizers like dashimaki egg and their squid (tho they recommend pairing it with sake to offset the saltiness of it). If you come at prime dining hours, there may be a wait so make a reservation in that case. Once you snag a seat though, you should expect a spectacular meal.

I was visiting my cousin and we went here after a heavy smoke session. This is literally the best sushi I've ever had in my entire life. I truly enjoyed the vibes and they also draw in a cool crowd of people. I've had sushi in 15 States and this is my number one spot in the USA.

We visited Wadatsumi on Friday for lunch. We tried the Angus Ribeye Sukiyaki and the Beef Curry. Both dishes were tasty. The service was good.
Best bang for buck chirashi bowl nice environment and they also pack Togo orders well. I frequent this plaza and this place has been my Togo choice always

Wadatsumi serves an extensive high quality Japanese menu focused on providing great cuts of meat and seafood. On my visit, I walked in early Sunday evening without a reservation and was luckily able to get seated fairly quickly. If you happen to be visiting during peak times, I would highly suggest a reservation at least a day in advance especially if you have a large party or would like to sit in one of the traditional restaurants rooms. I ordered the negitoro and chutoro blue fin tuna bowl, miso cod, and the wagyu curry with chicken katsu. Each dish was delicious in their own way. The blue fin tuna bowl was excellent as the rice was perfectly seasoned and the tuna was fresh. The miso cod was soft and lightly seasoned and grilled leaving a smoky flavor. The Wagyu curry was the "black curry" you typically find in Japan packed with an explosion of flavor in each bite. Overall, Wadatsumi brings quality dishes from Japan focusing on the quality of ingredients and simplicity of taste.

One of the best chirashi bowls! There are 3 things that determine good chirashi. One is the quality of the fish, the quality/flavor of the rice, and the combination( mixture ) of the fish. Wadatsumi is good on all three. If you want to pay more ( $35+) there are a few better places with a little more Toro, Uni, and Ikura but for the price, this place is solidly good. Also, rice is placed softly (not packed ) so that each rice kennel can be enjoyed. The visual placement of each of the items is good too!

One of the best hidden gems in Torrance! This Japanese shop has high quality meats and fresh fish. They have lunch specials that come in sets which includes rice, side salad, miso soup, and steamed egg with chicken and fish cake. Everything tasted authentic. I personally love their chirashi fish bowls and their beef bowls. You can order for pick up and the food travels well. They have a bar seating area which is great if you're dining alone. They also have private rooms inside for extra seating, which is great if you have a bigger party. Everyone

This place was recommended to me a while back and we finally got around to trying it. We made a reservation for a Tuesday night and found that it was pretty empty when we arrived...perhaps we didn't need one? We were immediately seated and I tried to place my order for bara chirashi bowl- SOLD OUT. How about the Kaisen don sashimi bowl?- SOLD OUT. I guess I should have made the reservation for earlier in the evening. I "settled" for the deluxe assorted box. The fish was quite fresh and it was very eye pleasing. I did notice that the uni was a bit darker than I typically see...and it had a nuttier taste than usual (spoiler alert: I didn't get sick, so I guess it was a different type of uni). The deluxe assorted box was very delicious but it was pretty small. I definitely would come back to try to get the bara chirashi bowl.
