We accidentally went to another brewery instead of this one but I'm glad we got back in the car and headed here... food was good and beer was even better... I tend to like my beer colder but other than that it was good. They had live music which is what attracted us to this place!

Great spot to grab a beverage and above average food to boot! The brewers here knows their stuff and can set you up with a tasty flight of some typical or cask style beers.Take advantage of their daily food (and drink) specials! Thanks Proj Barley Sq!

The Friday night we went.. no great vibe.. not many people. Mainly an over 35 crowd. No desserts. Yummy fish tacos and fries tho! Live music/ band. Real simple spot with no hype which can be good depending on the mood and atmosphere you are trying to aim for. Over all pretty cozy by the fire.Vegetarian options: NoneParking: It’s located in an odd corner position

Been coming here for 5+ years. Always good English style pints and now a diverse selection of Project Barley winners. Kitchen changed recently and I’ve only had the sweet potato fries and tacos: asado and a fish special. All good. Good service, good community, pleasant, interesting people. Fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Darts and occasionally an old style pinball machine.

I've been coming here for well over a year. It used be called Yorksire Square, then changed owners I believe. I'm so glad they kept the best bartenders like Zac. But I am so disappointed that they changed their food menu. I tired ordering what I usually get, the fish and chips and the drunken pear bread pudding, and I'm told they don't have it anymore! I tried the pretzel with the beer cheese and honestly super salty and the cheese dipping sause was already coagulating when I was served it. I really wish the old menu would come back, I really enjoy the atmosphere and the drinks here.

This review is for 2308 PCH, LOMITA location: First visit for Battle of the Bands 12/12/23 & it was quite packed. I didn't enjoy the female manager who pushed on us several times to "clear walkway" no matter how much we moved and squeezed into people to be out of the way. I may give it another go on a less crowded night to attempt to pick up the true vibe of the place. The wall decor where the bands were performing was cool & it's nice there's a place to showcase young talented musicians.

Amazing and unique selection of beers. The brewer/co-owner Stephen was a pleasure to talk to. Loved the vibe of the place, nice and chill.

Project Barley is a chill spot. I’ve been here a bunch of times for their live country music every other Wednesday. The atmosphere is cozy with the fireplace and love seats. The owners are super friendly and they have a fantastic beer selection. My personal favorite is the Shandy. They also have some picnic tables outside and a really cool vintage fireball pinball machine!Vegetarian options: Plantain Soyrizo Burger

They have several locations. Note: this is the one on Van Ness in Old Torrance, near 3355 Asian Grill and BCG.This brewery is GREAT for groups! I came here recently for a friend's birthday. They were able to reserve some tables outdoors in their back patio. There were maybe 20 of us and there was plenty of space for everyone. The place is super chill. Love the relaxed vibes-- it's overall great for a casual group hangout. They let us bring our own dessert/snacks too. The place is also dog friendly! Indoors, they had TVs, darts, and a free pinball machine! Unlimited plays for free! Their beer selection isn't too wide but they had a decent amount as well as wines, mimosas, shandy, hard cider, etc. There's something for everyone! I tried their sweet potato fries and their carne asada tacos which tasted better than they looked. I was pleasantly surprised! Service was friendly. Clean bathrooms. Free parking in their lot. I would definitely come back!
