4/5 service- the one who took our orders and seated us was very nice and attentive. Took a point off because the one who served our foods mixed up the order with another table. I was hangry and didn't bother to correct or flag down someone for the right item because then my partner would have to wait for me (ordered salmon teriyaki, and I got beef). 4/5 regular normal vibes and family-friendly restaurant. I just hate how uncomfortable the chairs are. They hurt my bottom. 3/5 for foods. Everything was too sweet for me and just don't hit right. Sauce on rolls were sweet, dressing on salad were sweet, teriyaki sauce was super sweet... rolls are meh. The CA rolls are very basic, and I didn't care for it here because they put whole imitation crab rolls in them instead of mixed salad like other restaurants.

Found this gem of a place one day and we are so happy we did. We love the vibes of this place and the music they play. It's so relaxing. The servers re very attentive and friendly too. The sushi is so good and super well dressed and they do not skimp out on anything with the bento boxes. We've eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout and the takeout is very conveniently packaged. Would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

Kengo Sushi is our new go-to sushi spot! The fish tastes super fresh! The Gale Special Roll is my husband's and my favorite! Their honey shrimp is a fun app too!

Best sushi in Tracy! And I have tried all the sushi spots! This spot hits different and is so fresh and delicious. The pink dragon roll is my favorite! Great service and the restaurant is a vibe.

I didn't realize I haven't given a review of Kengo Sushi in Tracy, so here it is in 2024. We've been going here for years and the 2024 prices have increased with inflation. But if you want sushi in this area, this is hands down the best. The sashimi is exceptional. I recommend the 15 pc sashimi dinner that comes with miso soup and salad. When in Tracy, check out Kengo Sushi!

Nice ambiance. Sushi quality and the bento boxes are great. Service is excellent. My wife and I are very please with the food we ordered. We will be coming back here soon.

I was surprised to see that it was completely empty on a rainy Saturday night in Tracy… so I decided to give Kengo Sushi a try after seeing it packed the last time I saw it. Upon walking in, I immediately sensed that it was going to be a good experience forsure. If you’re looking to get decent Japanese food in Tracy… this is one of them. Here’s how my experience went thus far:Me and my partner got the 4pc shrimp tempura… which happened to be $8. Not bad considering it was inflation, honestly, and the batter of the tempura was very crispy. I found, however, that it contained a little too less shrimp. The very aromatic tea really made up for the thick batter though… that’s for sure.We also got the Simba Roll and King Kong Roll… both of which were our favorites. They were so good to the point I had to take them home to leave them as leftovers LOL.Ramen wise, we got the Korean Spicy Ramen and the Shoyu Ramen. I was a bit disappointed considering I wanted actual ramen noodles from scratch, but instant noodles were just as good — hehe. They included a lot of veggies and toppings alongside pork for my shoyu, which definitely helped with my culinary palette. The spicy ramen’s level was just right. The waitresses were very friendly upon arrival, and kept on checking on us throughout our meal…. and they gave us quite good recommendations.I was quite fascinated to find that the entrance to the bathroom was identical to going to a cabana or a party. I like the overall design of the restaurant, but it seemed a little bit too dark, and I felt a little squeezed. In addition, I also felt like there could’ve been more variety, in terms of drinks, and in terms of rolls. Not trying to be critical, but if there was room for improvement, I would’ve spaced the tables around a little bit bit more.Overall, I had a really good experience, and I can’t wait to come here again with my friends.

Greaat sushi, it is nice and clean, bathroom is clean. The only reason i gave 4 stars for atmosphere is that the music is a tad too loud, but it doesn't not too bad.

Had to try out a Sushi restaurant with the same name I have (well, middle name anyway). It did not disappoint. Had their Dragon roll and it was one of the best Dragon rolls I've had. The place is tucked away in a shopping center, so it's easy to miss. The service was very good, but the only thing I didn't care for was that their music was a bit too loud, especially for a lunch crowd.

I love Kengo! I used to have my Muay Thai gym a few doors down from them before we moved across town. My family and I would go at least once a week. Love it!Parking: Gigantic parking lot, you will not find it difficult to find a spot.

Our favorite place to go for Valentine's Day. They have an incredible selection of sushi. I personally love the Unagi Tiger roll the dragon roll off. They have a great selection and the ambience is very nice. Clean place. Great place to go bring the kids and the service is fine. Tracy needed a place like this.

Decided to check out this place based on their listed hours but was let down. I got there just 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, but they wouldn't serve us unless we ordered our food to-go. This was pretty frustrating as there wasn't any heads-up about this policy. It'd be much better if they either update their hours or put up a sign saying they stop seating customers a half hour before closing. This experience was a disappointment and I think clear communication on when they actually stop serving could make things better for everyone. I won't be back.

My waitress was bad service.. she never came back with drinks or forks for our salads. Our salads got soggy by the time we got forks. And if you like a cook to chew gum while making your sushi, then come to Kengo. The guy that was making our sushi was chewing gum like a cow and God knows all the spit that came out on our sushi. We didn't eat it! Disgusting! Talk about spreading Covid! Don't chew gum and cook it's unprofessional! I restaurant was not clean.

They made a special request roll. Daughter only wanted avocado & cream cheese sushi roll. Not a roll thats on their menu. They made it and it was reasonably priced.
