This is a new restaurant but the good is like a home made style. Service and staffs are very friendly.

i loved the vibe of this restaurant once i walked in. it was clean and the tables were neat. so my personal favorite here was the sizzling rice soup. i usually hate sizzling rice soup but this place is phenomenal. the sweet and sour chicken was amazing, the salt and pepper green beans were very addicting. the waiter was so nice to us and was very attentive. i won't even give this place a 10/10 its a 20/10 check this place out !! 20/10 i recommend

First time to see this restaurant advertised in junk mailer. I checked it out on yelp and seeing good reviews, and wanting to check it out to see how good it is, went there and checked out the menu. Looking at their menu, seeing that they have dimsum, so I ordered bbq pork steam buns. When I got home and open the to go box and found 3 tiny buns, not the normal size. It was like probably 2 inches in size. I bit into it and it has good flavor, but unfortunately it was too small for the price. It cost $ 8.00 plus. While waiting for my order, one of the waitress was ringing one customer up, and when she looked at the register and was surprised and then she looked at the menu and said "oh the price changed", but didn't explained to the customer that she was charging her more. Since the new menu didn't have the increase price, they shouldn't be charging customer a higher price, that's bad. Then I asked the person who gave me my order, and she mentioned that it'll be $2.00 more from the menu because their new menus have not arrived yet. I would not patronize business that are honest.

I wanted to like this place since the last time I was here it was Mandarin Villa and loved the food then. The food now is tasty. Love the crunch on the chicken dishes but beyond the food there was little to love. We arrived at 6:45pm on a Tues night and were quickly seated. The restaurant wasn't full with a few parties dining, and only 2 servers working. This is where the complaining begins. The smell of the restaurant smelled like going into an old moldy building. Then we waited for someone to acknowledge us to get our order started, then waited and waited and waited for the food that we ordered. We had to flag the waiter for water refills. We also asked where was our shrimp dumplings, an hour in and a waiter said they were working on it. Another waiter asked, did you receive everything a few minutes later, and asked about the missing dish which they didn't comp, once it arrived almost an hour and a half in. It would be great if they communicated with each other to help with service. We waited again for the bill and eventually got fed up and walked up to the register to request the bill. They need to get their act together on the horrible service. The food was great but it does not make up for all the waiting. Not going back unless they fix their service issues and get food to arrive at reasonable times. We left the restaurant 2hrs later. How hard can it be to serve a family of 4 on a non busy evening? I'll give them 2 stars for the food but that's it.

This relatively new restaurant is off to a good start. Remodeled interior is bright and cheery, there's understated jazz piano music in the background, and the menu is very promising. The two dishes we had on our first visit were excellent: The mu shu pork was beautifully prepared, tender and simply delicious (would have been perfect if the pancakes were not room temp). We also had something I haven't encountered before, ChongQing-style fish - dry-fried battered fillet pieces, very spicy (if unnecessarily piled high with dry chiles), but also very light and delicate, with an otherworldly combination of flavors and aromas. Service is very friendly and attentive. Beer and wine list is the only serious weakness and needs focused attention, but I imagine they will get it sorted out. We will definitely be back, soon.

White Peony is my family's go to restaurant in Tracy. Whenever I'm in town visiting my parents, it's my first choice on where to eat. The food is amazing and the service is too. The restaurant is decorated nicely, very relaxing and zen. Their meat buns are one of my favorites. We met the owner and she suggested them and they are delicious, made fresh there. You get 8 small buns to an order and they are filled with savory meat in a soft delicious bun. This visit we also had the Wor Wonton Soup, Honey Walnut Prawns, and Sesame Chicken. Everything was delicious as usual with great flavor. Definitely good size portions- so we had leftovers to take home. If I could only find a place I like this much in Vegas!

This place super dirty: Look up in the restaurant roof, you can see how dirty lamps and light are: There restroom is extremely filthy dirty and its smell terrible: I order a dishes cost, $15, they decide given a new chinese pork belly dish to tried, and I told them was not very good, and I should not have to pay: she package it up and tell me to take it home to my wife: pork belly was super sugary taste, to sweet for my blood. They are unprofessional: Total Bills should be on $15 and they charge $42.00 I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN:Parking: DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT:

Love this place! We've been searching for a new chinese food place since the pandemic killed Mandarin Villa. Lo and behold, in the same spot, a great new place!Newly remodeled, great food! They need a little more help on the floor, food came out fast and hot but hard to get the overwhelmed staff's attention at times.I would love to explore the menu more!

Best in Tracy, new owners, new decor and most importantly very delicious new menu! Been there several times and food is always very good. Used to live in the east bay and we have been waiting for a restaurant t9 open that has authentic Chinese food, this place is legit. They even have a Dim Sum menu served daily. Try it once and it will be your new favorite place, guaranteed!
