Went to Peet's to meet friends for coffee. There was no one in line. An older woman said she'd be with me in a minute. I really appreciated being acknowledged. I ordered a hot grande nonfat latte. The woman looked at me with a scowl and in a gruff voice said she didn't know what a grande was. She only knew small, medium, and large. I told her I would have a medium. The latte was hot and tasted good. I will return, but I hope that woman will be a bit more friendly. I do frequent...read full review
Always a good place to come to when visiting Monterey. Peet's brand has never been a let down. Only downside is that the closed the Portola location and had to walk a few blocks to get here. Workers there were very nice.

Usually have a good experience here, the staff is very friendly. My only concern is that sometimes there is a new or not experienced enough barista, so they don’t know how to make the drink right and you have to ask them to remake it. Also, they charge quite a bit more for almond milk and whipped cream, which is ridiculous. I’ve never seen a coffee shop charge for whipped cream - this is the 1st one, especially for lattes and blended drinks.
