By the slice or 16” inches of pure deliciousness. The vegan cheese is amazing and you can make any pizza vegan by swapping out the cheese. The Artist is a family favorite and I definitely recommend trying it out. Perfect place to call in an order and then take home, dine in or take to the beach!

I saw the locals getting heartwarming treatment from Katie (sp?) (the owner?) as she addressed them by name and made them feel special. I was a bit envious but was thrilled to get the same welcoming and caring treatment even though I was just passing through. I arrived feeling a bit down and out and left feeling confident in humanity and wanted to remember the experience by sharing it with you.

Small hole in the wall kind of place, but the pizza and garlic knots are terrific!

Update: Uncertain why the owner stated that she remembers me. We had a pleasant interaction at the cash register when we paid for our pizza, and then never spoke again. We ate and left without incident. She did say I had a lovely name and we spoke about the Dolly Parton song when when we paid for our order. I'm sorry if the owner doesn't particularly enjoy hearing the critique of her business, and I'm sure she works hard, so I understand the situation, but to insinuate that I was a difficult customer is not cool. I was fair and honest in my review, and I did state that the employees were friendly in my original comments. I feel it's a bit lazy to blame the customer when in reality the pizza fell short, and they made it difficult to get a side of ranch, which should be a simple request for a pizza restaurant.
Original review: This is one of those places that I'm just not sure how it's getting 5 stars. Perhaps it's because there's only a couple restaurants in Trinidad? We smelled the pizza from the grocery store parking lot and returned the next evening to try it out. I had looked at the menu online and their website says to call in your order in advance, and I'm glad we did because it was a 1 hr wait for our pizza. We arrived at time they said the pizza would be done, but still ended up waiting another 15 minutes for the pizza to come out after we paid. The pizza was dry. Very little sauce or cheese. We got the Trinity pizza with bacon, pepperoni and sausage. The toppings were meh. The pizza was chewy and hard, definitely not in a good way. Just a really thin and dry pizza crust. This sounds crazy, but I feel like the pizza was made in advance and then reheated?? It wasn't even in the vicinity of being a good pizza. When our pizza was brought out to the table, I asked for a ranch sauce and was told to get back into line and ring it up at the register, I think she said it was 50 cents. Unfortunately, there were several families in line and only one person was ringing up orders. I decided to eat the pizza while it was hot instead of trying to cut the line of people. The pizza was $30+ something dollars. We tipped well. Why can't I have one ranch with my pizza? And even if I need to pay .50 cents, why must I get back in line and wait 10 minutes in line when my hot pizza has finally arrived? I urge the owners to rethink their approach on that aspect of the service. Aside from this, the employees were friendly, and I appreciate their website asking you to call in your order in advance so you don't have to wait a long time at the restaurant. I really do appreciate that type of communication. But overall, it was expensive and very very average, at best. I'd rate the pizza here a C-.

Limited seating, long lead time for the pizzas. We called the pizza order in from the road, not knowing what to expect. It took an hour for the pizzas to be ready for pickup. I don't know if they make each crust from scratch or not, but it seems a little too long for pizza. It's more like a small place to get a drink of whine and the pizza is an extra. Very laid back, no real urgency.

Decent pizza but not great. Too many toppings on the recommended pizza so it had to stay in the oven longer, burning the crust. Took roughly an hour to get the 16’.

Pizza was delicious and if you order between 3pm-5pm, you get a happy hour discount ($2 off a full pie). Love this place - highly recommend.
