“We had a party of 17. Our server was outstanding! All the meals came out at the same time, hot, and plentiful. He was attentive to all parties at the table. I did not hear any unsatisfied guest in our party. Thank you to the entire team from booking the large party, to the chef/s in preparing all meals to perfection, and to all the servers who supported our waiter in delivering the meals at one time. “Hidden behind the Beachcomber Cafe coffee shop, this cute little “one woman operation” is a real gem! You order at the menu window, Friday and Saturday 5-7pm, the pies are 13 inch, made with quality ingredients. It looks like the pies are seasonal and the menu is ever changing. Definitely worth the stop for great pizza!”

“Amazing food and atmosphere, we went for lunch and had a great dining experience. Friendly staff, delicious eats and an incredible view. I got the chicken pesto pasta and my partner got the bowl of clam chowder. After our hike in Trinidad we were famished and the food was on point.”

“The fries are the best! They’re light, crispy, and perfectly fried! It’s what McDonald’s fries wish they were😂 The people were very nice and the price was reasonable for the freshness. We got the specials Albacore and chips and the steelhead burger.
Something they could add is shade for the picnic tables for a more comfortable eating experience.”

We honestly weren't wowed by the flavors of our dishes but may have expected too much, given the super high reviews for this place. The prices were also on the high side given it's a food truck, but we're happy to pay more to support the super nice and efficient guys who run this place. Overall a good experience, and a nice atmosphere too!”

“One of the few (only?) places in McKinleyville that offers a large assortment of baked goods and pastries alongside excellent coffee. There are usually a few savory sandwiches offered as well.

We were particularly impressed by the fact that the iced coffee includes coffee ice cubes, yay!

Because of the open plan layout within a small space, the location is fine for a quick bite and chat, but not particularly atmospheric for a longer hangout.”

“We love the Sweet Spot! Doing laundry is pleasant in the safe and open atmosphere. It’s nice to pop in a load of laundry and in the same place (!!!) grab a bagel or fresh baked good in the ice cream parlor and sit outside while your wash gets done.”
