One of my favorite wineries in the state. Always an enjoyable time when I stop here. Wines are generally medium bodied, flavorful, and well balanced. They're also aged longer than typical wineries, with many bottles in the 5-15 year range. Flights are a build-your-own format with a large assortment to choose from, including single-varietals (some rare) and blends. Tasting room feels exceptionally cozy.
I was traveling the coast solo and stopped in here for some wine tasting. Hailey was super friendly, helpful, and introduced me to some new wines I had no idea I would like! I will definitely be back on my trip next year!
Wow! What an experience. Don (winemaker) and Hailey were incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and made our visit so unique and memorable. Both were so friendly and interested in what we enjoyed and what we were looking to taste. Also so open to share their knowledge and recommendations. And…such a wide and unique range of wines to choose from. Not only is Trinidad gorgeous, but I would recommend anyone to come out of their way and visit Moonstone Crossing Winery. 10/10...
