Had to stay here because we were experiencing homelessness at the time , rooms are already overpriced as it is . No WiFi we ended up checking out late because our car wouldn’t start and we got yelled at and physically threatened by the owner that we would get shot . I have it on video and If you want to feel safe I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there is this I believe he is crazy or has mental issues but his name is Wayne and he resides there as well and he was harassing me and my boyfriend the whole time (btw we are also minors ) and he made us feel super unsafe and uncomfortable saying that “he has to know who stays here and he needs to know names “ because other wise he “won’t feel safe “ when he was a grown man approaching me and my man as minors . I have a video of him screaming at us and walking up to us harassing us for no reason whatsoever. We were already having a rough day as it is . He had gave me an anxiety attack and my dad almost had to hit him for him to leave us alone . Cops were called but nothing happend because we never showed them the videos because we just were trying to get out of that situation and not escalate it anymore then wayne had. Anyways wouldn’t recommend if you like to feel safe where you stay.

Didn't stay, I was just dropping some food off to a friend but the trailer seemed nice, 2 beds,bath,kitchen ect...would be great for a small get together so nooone would have to drive after drinking

My husband and I both absolutely loved our stay. Amazing ocean views close by, forest garden, trails and pond. Spacious, rustic duplex cabins with hot and cold water. We'll be back soon.

This Hotel owner refuse to rent to me and my husband, and grand child age 7, because we had a service animal. When both my husband and I are disabled. Poor way of running a Hotel and who is very ignorant of the laws when it comes to disable folks like ourselves.

You know, these people saying the rooms are dirty and blah blah are being snobby and unfair. This place is a cute little gem and for $75 you get to stay in a little cabin with a porch in the woods on the coast. For that same price you could also stay at some chain motel or hotel and maybe it would be cleaner (more sterile) but it would lack the character and charm of Ocean Grove.

This is my favorite place to stay in Trinidad because the price is right and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The cabins rest among majestic redwood trees and huge luscious ferns! The staff are always kind and welcoming.

This is a perfect place if you are on a low budget. An added Plus for this low cost motel is the fact that the rooms are situated buy cabins. Each cabin is a duplex with most having a wooden front porch. They are located in the midst of a small Grove of Redwood trees. My guess is that these trees are likely to be greater than 300 hundred years old.
