Great find for our family on the last day of our trip to Trinidad. Such a polite staff and upscale curated menu and portions. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place once if you are in the area. Loved the ambiance too, we have seated outside. Thank you.

Exceptional restaurant with wonderful dishes and equally strong service. Our group ordered many appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Every single one was superb.

We went to Larrupin to celebrate our anniversary. IT WAS AMAZING! The food was awesome, the service by Gary was outstanding. The background music was perfect and the restaurant atmosphere was incredible. We were literally blown away at the perfection of the entire evening. Thank you Gary. Thank you Larrupin Cafe.

Excellent meal with excellent service. My partner had grilled salmon with asparagus. I had a very generous cut of prime rib cooked perfectly and their sweet potatoes with maple butter. We started with grilled coconut prawns that were seriously yummy. The wait staff were great. It's a bit pricey for some, I'm sure, but what we had was worth the cost.

Top tier service in a cozy restaurant that feels like a restaurant that its from the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland and thats a high compliment. The 40s jazz, warm settings, dark colors, and quirky decorations felt like dinner at a really interesting friend’s house. Food was good but not perfect. The ribs were tender and juicy, but not all of the brisket was. The coconut macadamia rice was a delicious touch. I was glad that I made the reservation and would gladly come back when I am in the area again.

This restaurant was highly recommended and has generally high reviews, however, I don't know why. I visited with my family for my birthday. I have 2 small children and Larrupin's atmosphere seems very anti-children. There is no guest Wifi, no kid's menu, no kid's cups, etc. Two of us ordered steak and 3 of us ordered chicken. When our meals came (which was a bit of a wait) the chicken was RAW. It was cut in half already, as two of us were sharing the meal. Any decent chef would have known upon cutting into the chicken, that it was not cooked. The texture was tough and difficult to cut and the color was pink. When we told our server, he was rude and seemed upset that we were complaining. He did not apologize or offer any resolution other than replacing the meal. The chef could not cook chicken thigh to well done, why would we want another? The steaks were pricey and not cooked to the ordered temperatures/unevenly cooked. I stepped outside with my children while we waited for our server to speak to management regarding removing the chicken from our bill, and I could hear the kitchen staff yelling and complaining outside in a fenced area. I would not recommend Larrupin' if you want to enjoy your meal, let alone be able to safely eat it.
