I basically picked the first seafood restaurant I found in the area, and BOY did I get lucky. I sat at the counter (with a view to the kitchen), and the first thing I noticed was how warmly all of the staff interacted with each other. Wait staff and kitchen staff seemed calm and like they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. Everyone--even the teenage host--was ridiculously knowledgable about the food and wine, in an easy-going, friendly way. I had the oysters, which were local...
Delicious food, thoughtful local organic ingredients, rich omg French toasts and such, and healthy omlets with local veggies and salads. Full coffee bar with lattes and mochas. One of the best places to eat in the area. Plus they have a great little gift shop full of Trinidad and Redwood wonders... and fudge. Really really good fudge. If there's a wait, its worth it.
This local restaurant was exceptional from the service to the food and even the little gift shop with local favorites. I would highly recommend if you are looking for some delicious food in the area.
