Delicioso! My son, nephew and I chowed down a chocolate bread pudding, a brownie, and a red velvet carrot cake. We all agreed that all of them are excellently delicious.

This seems to be the place to go in Truckee. Long line of people waiting to order. Nice outdoor seating. Lots of good coffee. I bought a delicious sandwich that I took to the park for a picnic, and they were able to make half-size. In a little strip mall.

Wild Cherries had kind of a combination Bo-Ho, Hippie, Outdoorsy vibe that is so inviting! Staff are friendly and energetic, and service is quick despite a long line at the counter. I had a house brew dark blend pour-9over coffee which was smooth, full-bodied and not at all bitter. My wife's iced tea was a blend of black and green teas and very good. They also serve many espresso-based coffee drinks and a large variety of flavored teas. I had a bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, capers, red onion and cucumber. Not quite a traditional bagel shmear, and if I return I might as them to hold the cukes, but it was delicious. The lox, especially, was top quality, tender and tasty, without any of the tough, sinewy strands that cold-smoked salmon sometimes has. A very generous amount of salmon as well. The bagel was house made and also excellent. My wife had the breakfast sandwich, which was a fluffy egg scramble with lot of filling on marble rye. She was very pleased with it. Prices were reasonable. Definitely a spot to hit in Truckee for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

My mocha was perfectly prepared, and the baked good were fresh and delicious. There was a line but it moved fast. Fueled us before a very long day on the road, thank you!

We stopped by twice while were in town. The breakfast sandwiches and scones are amazing. My wife fell in love with a smoothie with peanut butter. Apparently, we were lucky, and did not have wait in a long line either day.

Love the pastries here and my girlfriend is happy because they have a large selection of gluten free treats.

I've had this key lime pie 3 times now. I used to make handmade pie, I've tried a lot of pies. This is hands down the best, light and airy key lime pie I've ever had in my life. The Graham cracker crust is thick and compacted. It doesn't appear to have any colorings added. I don't want to try other key lime pies now, I've found the one. The flavors are extremely balanced. I'm no food critic but it's just extremely delicious, everytime I've eaten it it's made me extremely happy and I wanted to give a special thank you to the ladies at the bakery.

While this goes by a short generic name 'Bakery' it is actually the Lobo Bakery, not to be confused with Truckee Sourdough Company. Truckee Sourdough Company is the regionally famous bread bakery that provides some of the highest quality sour dough bread outside San Francisco, to the bay area, Lake Tahoe and all in between. This is not it, Truckee Sourdough is not open to the public even while they should be in a town with 98.3% tourists all of the time. Bakery does not make Sourdough and that's what I was looking for. Was however able to find some savory snacks and some Temple Coffee roasted in Sacramento. Friendly staff. Good prices. Great smells!

Good for coffee, breakfast or a small lunch this is a nice locals place. Recently had the BLTA sandwich which was great. Also the veggie chili is good but can be a little spicy!

Really enjoyed Wild Cherries. Coffee was great and so was the Blue Berry Scone. They had a large assortment of pastries and both a nice indoor and outdoor sitting area.

Always a great place to grab food on the go. Take sandwiches or bagels on your hike or to the lake. Good value.

This review is purely for customer service, although the baked goods look delicious! A beloved member of our family is seriously ill at the hospital in Truckee. My parents and I were able to visit him and loved ones about a week ago; right after we left, he took a turn for the worse. It's appropriate now that he's surrounded solely by his nearest and dearest, but our family branch is doing our best to send notes and memories to be read to him, and little gifts just to hold him -- and everyone -- close. We also live in France, which makes gift-giving a little logistically difficult, especially to be delivered to a hospital. Enter The Bakery's wonderful employee, Grace. We liked what we read about The Bakery online, and called to ask if there was any way we could place an order and pay for it over the phone, and somehow have it delivered to the hospital. The Bakery isn't really set up for that, but Grace made it happen, despite being the only employee working at the time. A couple of international calls later, she'd put together an amazing assortment of cookies and things, and promised to take them over to the hospital herself, on her own time, after her shift ended; she even texted a pic of the boxes of good stuff she delivered, so we all could grin at it and imagine the looks on everyone's faces when presented with such an awesome-looking assortment of love 'n sugar. Grace was kind and sympathetic, and went over and beyond to connect a whole bunch of loved ones separated by a continent and ocean, and in the process, at a difficult time, brought a lot of joy to people in your community, and in our little part of the world. You made an excellent hire, Bakery management! And when we're back in town, we look forward to stopping by in person to try some of what looked to be a mouthwatering collection of goodies. Thank you, Grace. Appropriate name you've got there. :)

Love their bread. Bummed that they no longer make the baguette.

So happy there are quality fresh baked goods here in Truckee. Everything I have purchased so far has been priced really fair as well as been delicious and fresh. Will be coming back for more.

This place has CLOSED. Their pastries and bread is available at Wild Cherries next door but the bakery itself is closed. I loved this place, and I'm so sad about this
