The service was 10 out of 10. The entire staff was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and made sure we had the best possible experience. Unbelievable desserts!
We recently celebrated a birthday dinner at the Manzanita restaurant and had the best time! All the staff were incredibly accommodating, caring, and attentive! We loved the atmosphere, food, and environment. We'll definitely be back.
Hermoso hotel pero la gastronomia dejo mucho que desear nada espectacular en cuanto a sabor pero el lugar si es increible
Food was decent. Drinks were overpriced, especially the wine that was outrageously priced. If you're staying at the hotel, could be worth it because of convenience, but not worth the drive for anyone else.
The food took a long time to be prepared. Our fish was very undercooked. The menu was very limited.
Really ... not great and it should have been for the price. A Marriott hotel restaurant where most everything was fine with a couple of misses (oversweet, watery squash soup; desserts) and a couple of standouts (gnocchi in a mushroom sauce; bread, called naan was not really naan but was really delicious). The dining room is big and cold and bright. The service was excellent -- friendly, knowledgable and attentive, just right -- the only part of the meal that stood out as one might expect at a +/- $200/pp dinner.
We had high expectations for the only fine dining option at the Lake Tahoe Ritz Carlton. We were not impressed by the menu options. The 8 oz filet was butterflied and cool when served. The truffle mashed potatoes lacked flavor and seasoning. Overall the experience was only fair and over priced.
Fantastic food. Something for the entire family and dietary restrictions are easily accommodated. Will return asap!
65th birthday celebration with family. Our daughter said the filet was the best she ever had. My specialty old fashioned was amazing. Ahi Tuna was deep cut and melt in your mouth delicious.
The Ritz Carlton as a resort is beautifully built. The Lobby bar is gorgeous, there was a fantastic bar tender there who have my son some water. However, that is about all I can say. We ate at Manzanita for dinner. The Resturant is Pretty, but there is no blood going there, no energy. It was a very boring experience. We had the Bread to start and it was nothing special. The Golden Beat Carpaccio was cut too thick in my opinion, but it had a nice dressing. The Tuna starter was not amazing. The color of the fish was low grade but the garlic aioli had decent flavor. The main course, the 8oz filet was nice, cooked well and a nice piece of meat. The accompanying bacon wrapped mushroom was just not good. The side carrots was the star, a perfect dish of heirloom carrots on top of a fantastic sauce and almonds. That was great. My wife had the soup and it was very nice. Desert was fine, the Trukee Constellation was beautiful and tasted pretty good. We didn't care for the Ash ice cream. The cake pop was too dense and the cookies with half chocolate were average. I ordered plain coffee for dessert, unfortunately it was too frothy. Just wanted rich black coffee and sweat and cream it myself. Lastly, I would tell engeinerring to re angle the HVAC diffusers. They blow directly onto the guest, make the food cold and is very uncomfortable for guests. Very “Non-Ritz” in my opinion. You guys need some sound, love music or something here. It felt like a beautiful recovery center. I think Marriot would make a fortune if it was a high end rehab center. It is too steril and quiet and boring. Especially without snow, there was nothing too offer.

We visited this place quite a few times, the steak is amazing. This last time we noticed a lot of smoke and very intense burning smell. The hostess told us that their vents had an issue but should resolve soon and the air should clear out. Well, it didn't. We had to ask twice to move to a different spot. After having the starters we insisted to move - where the air was a just bit clearer. At the end of the evening our clothes and hair all smelled of smoke. Hopefully they will not open when having this issue again.
Overall experience was excellent. Food was truly delicious...rich but excellent. Service was good and consistent. Pleasurable evening!
A fantastic experience. Joey took great care of us! Looking forward to being back during the Holidays.
Food was excellent. Very nice wine list. Brandon provided GREAT service and we had a great visit with Maddie. Price was at the top end of this caliber of food and service but factor in the location and scenery.....
Overall experience a disappointment. Our server had what appeared to be cocaine powder in her nostrils and proceeded to give us poor service. The decor was tired and for the price I was expecting some nice views. No such luck. The only saving grace was the food was decent. We we there for breakfast. Personally I would t go back. $30 pancakes, no thank you!
