Breakfast for 7. Gave us a table set up for 6 even though we were a party of seven with a reservation...and this was after waiting past our rez time for the table to be set up. We had to ask for the extra needed tableware twice. $40 Eggs Benedict was cold. Very slow to bring food (unless you want the buffet). It seems like the ala carte breakfast menu must be prioritized for room service orders and not people dining in restaurant. We were told in advance by hostess that if we ordered off menu (rather than buffet) it would take 30 minutes. 10 minutes after order was placed we still didnt have our coffee. Seated us at a table right next to a kitchenette/serving area-very noisy and not what you want at 8 am. For a hotel that charges over $3000 a night for their entry level room on a 3 day weekend (obviously catering to a certain clientele) I would think they need to do a lot better.

I booked a reservation for Manzanita Valentine's Day with my four year-old and my wife. I have been to Manzanita before and it was more of a steakhouse. There was no mention in the advertisement or on their website that is now a noodle house. We ordered chicken wings that were cold. We ordered pokey, which was only about 3 ounces. I had two Mezcal drinks. My wife had one glass of champagne. The bill was $350. The noodles soup was not good. I've had much better at a little hole on the wall in Reno. The service was horrible. A server came by and said she wasn't a normal server but would take our order anyway the food was horrible. The service was horrible and it was $350. Worst experience ever they need to change this back to a steakhouse or something disgusting. I'm very disappointed.

Wine corkage fee is outrageous; especially after letting the Somm taste our own expensive wine. All the wine bottle prices are too high; 3X store prices! Ridiculous

The restaurant is grossly overpriced. One of the mains for one person was $195!!!! Probably helps to explain why there were very few customers.

The food was very good, although it is a limited menu. The service started off really well, but about halfway through dinner it dropped off, and we rarely saw anyone once we were served.

We recently celebrated a birthday dinner at the Manzanita restaurant and had the best time! All the staff were incredibly accommodating, caring, and attentive! We loved the atmosphere, food, and environment. We'll definitely be back.

Food was decent. Drinks were overpriced, especially the wine that was outrageously priced. If you're staying at the hotel, could be worth it because of convenience, but not worth the drive for anyone else.
The food took a long time to be prepared. Our fish was very undercooked. The menu was very limited.

Really ... not great and it should have been for the price. A Marriott hotel restaurant where most everything was fine with a couple of misses (oversweet, watery squash soup; desserts) and a couple of standouts (gnocchi in a mushroom sauce; bread, called naan was not really naan but was really delicious). The dining room is big and cold and bright. The service was excellent -- friendly, knowledgable and attentive, just right -- the only part of the meal that stood out as one might expect at a +/- $200/pp dinner.

We had high expectations for the only fine dining option at the Lake Tahoe Ritz Carlton. We were not impressed by the menu options. The 8 oz filet was butterflied and cool when served. The truffle mashed potatoes lacked flavor and seasoning. Overall the experience was only fair and over priced.

65th birthday celebration with family. Our daughter said the filet was the best she ever had. My specialty old fashioned was amazing. Ahi Tuna was deep cut and melt in your mouth delicious.
