Had the bacon egg sandwich and my co worker had the sausage egg on biscuit. The biscuit was not good but the bacon and egg sandwich was pretty good. Since it is within the Ritz everything is spendy ($8 for water). Service is excellent.

I had a great experience getting coffee this morning. The coffee is good and I received it quickly. I was able to charge it to the room which made it very smooth. Would recommend!

No chance this place survives. Over priced, slow service, mediocre product, horrible staff and that's being kind. But for the fact it's the only game in town, no one would ever patronize this place. You've been warned.

I’ve been here for a week and every day something is missing. They don’t have wraps, they don’t have anything plant based. This place is a mess.When I asked what can I eat plant based if the 3 main items were sold out they said fruit. They don’t talk to the kitchen. This is not a cafe of a luxurious hotel.

Ordered a meat burrito and a pastry. 16 minutes later and haven't received our order while everyone else behind us got theirs. I finally inquired and they haven't even made the burrito. It wasn't a great experience and the burrito was OK.

What a joke. At this rate, they should just close down this "cafe." A regular-size black coffee - ten dollars. Not even Vegas would dare charge me that much for a plain coffee. On top of that, it tasted terrible. I may as well have brought instant coffee with me. No reason whatsoever to go here.

The food is average. The service is fine. But honestly, I just have a problem with spending $12 on a small latte and $15 on a plain croissant. Both of which..... are... fine? There are FAR better options in truckee. Make your way to those.
The staff make this place the best destination within the Ritz! Every visit they remember from the distant last visit!

We had amazing service at cafe blue. I had to work every morning during our stay so when I went to get a coffee each morning at cafe blue. Joseph remembered me each morning when I went to grab a coffee and was super friendly and nice. One morning my cup was leaking and I brought it back to get an additional cup to place under it and just joked that the compostable drink ware does it's job too well. He was apologetic and even remembered the next day and apologized again and said if I needed anything else, please let him know. During the evening, we came in to get dinner for our son. There's not a lot of restaurant options in north Lake Tahoe for vegan gluten free items but cafe blue staff including Gus and the chef made a custom meal for our son of bunless hotdog, avocado, fries, salad, and lettuce wrap. We were so thankful, especially our son who happily enjoyed his meal. Thank you cafe blue staff! The menu options are pricey here but it's as expected for a kitchen within a resort.
