I think Gravity house is a good value when considering the location, clean rooms, and associated restaurant. However, pleased be warned that if you are bringing a dog, please read their dog policy thoroughly. We were shocked to find out that our dog could not stay in the room without us, with the only exception being onsite breakfast. This really blew up our plans. "Dog friendly" should be "Kind of dog friendly"

Just leaving a 5 star review for Gravity Haus’s excellent customer service. We had to switch our travel plans last minute due to a major blizzard and they were so gracious in refunding our room and helping us book the following weekend. Thanks!

After I-80 had been closed for nearly two days due to blizzard conditions, the hotel refused to issue a refund. I was told different policy information by several employees and they eventually stopped answering their phones all together. Being unable to reach the hotel due to the main highway being closed and both Caltrans and CHP urging people not to travel to Truckee, the hotel was as inflexible as they could be. Our company will no longer be using this hotel and will be sharing our experience widely. A simple refund and basic, good customer service would have avoided the further action now being taken to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

We stayed here while visiting Truckee for our Valentine’s getaway. We rode the Amtrak from TX to CA and stayed a couple nights here. Location was great and the room has excellent. Would stay here again when we return. We used Ubers to get around but the Tart does stop just in front of the hotel.

Stayed overnight due to heavy snow, so happy with being marooned. The room is very comfortable, contemporary and tech ready...the staff helpful and able to make decisions to improve our stay. But the biggest delight and surprise is Stella's, the on site restaurant led by chef Jessie. Every dish is perfectly created. This is a restaurant where the chef personally ensures every plate meets his expectation and intention of flavor, texture and surprise.

I hosted a leadership meeting at Gravity Haus this past week. Overall, great trip and Gravity Haus will definitely be a candidate for future work trips and personal trips.Pros:1. Meeting Space, nice large meeting space with mixed zones for a board/leadership meeting and lounging/more intimate space.2. Quality of food, you can tell they take pride in their food and drink, this was a very good experience overall.3. Service, top notch world class service. Everyone was accommodating, attentive and responsive.Cons:1. Rooms, not a huge deal but had me docking from 5 stars, rooms are nice at this price point but the bathrooms are so-so and could use an update.2. Tech, we had issues with the projector and it was unable to be resolved. There was another option but it was off center and threw off the flow of my meeting. Considering the cost of the meeting space and added AV, this needs to be a priority to be fixed or given a heads up on this not working.3. Restaurant, really good good and really good service but we had plans on grabbing breakfast but they couldn't open because a staff member had car issues. I recommend ensuring you have back up plans so patrons can ensure access and scheduling. With all this said, I want to reiterate that my experience was very positive and I will consider coming back.

where do I begin? umm favorite place in truckee and probably the surrounding areas as well, yeah. I have stayed here a handful of times for work and play & it’s always been delightful.think solo getaway for outdoor shenanigans, “wfwherever”, honeymoon-ish, get a babysitter for the kids, cuz it’s a relaxed quiet cozy vibe.Majority of the staff is the most friendly, chill, & hospitable bunch. my favorite is the aesthetic and layout of the space and its location. hot tub and sauna keep me coming back for suuure. in the slightly warmer weather months they have fire pits and patio furniture out and handful of gear rentals.ciao for now…until next time :)
