21.88 for a sandwich that's only has half is ingredients. Shameful what this place has dropped down to. I haven't been here in a year, due to how bad they had become. Turns out a year break only ended up being worse.
Ordered the Dirka. It only had one type of near, not the two advertised. This has been typical of them for years. But now it's only filled in the center of the sandwich, and only on one side. So about 1/4 of the sandwich has some meat on it, the rest is bare. Check ot the video and photos.
Just go anywhere else for sandwich in Truckee. Everybody else gives you twice the food at half the price. Safeway and Raleys is fresh too, not sure it here. This place is the laughing stock of Truckee now.

This place is the real deal. If you are from out of town, try it- the sandwiches NEVER disappoint! Their daily specials are posted on their Facebook page each day. Our personal favorite is the “ Dirka Dirka”. These folks have been on DIners, Drive- Ins and Dives for good reason. The portions are generous. Orders are never screwed up/ they get it right the first time.
Too many great options to describe, but the food is fantastic as are the people working here. Beats anything your going to get in the casinos, and worth a stop if you're just driving through.
