I was blown away by this little hole in the wall. They could certainly use an atmosphere upgrade but the food is fantastic and the service is amazing. The staff are incredibly attentive and the most friendly crew I've encountered eating out in the last several years. We will definitely be back.

Iss Mehfil main toh baar baar aana hi padega😊🥧🍚🍛In our 2 day trip to Lake Tahoe,we visited this place thrice- so you know how good the food and place is❤️ FOOD- First thing first- Baingan ka bharta is delicious,smoky flavour😊 AMBIENCE - Amazing playlist and proper sitting with cleanliness and surrounded by mountains and green trees 🌲 STAFF- shoutout to Sam and Ajay for serving us with delicious food with a sweet smile,warmth and love.Also in helping us in customized orders too😊

We are British and quite partial to curry! We tried Mehfil Indian Bistro and were very pleasantly surprised. The goat curry was delicious - tender meat and very well put together. We had the chicken vindaloo and it was excellent - with the right amount of citric bite and a high spice rating of 9/10 (i.e. very hot!). The raita was excellent, as was the garlic Nan bread. The atmosphere is a bit spartan - but the food is freshly cooked and very well done. And portions are very generous. Highly recommended.

Mehfil Indian Bistro restaurant was absolutely delicious! We tried the chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani. Both were flavorful and perfectly spiced. They adjusted the spice level based on our request. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Indian cuisine. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Can’t wait to return.

The food is always amazing and the people working there are always very friendly and extremely nice. They make you feel a part of the family. My two year old daughter always begs to get food from Mehfil whenever we walk by on our way to our P.O. Box. The food is so great that I could eat there every day.

When I heard that there has been some changes somewhat recently, I was psyched to go finally have some decent Indian food near me. I moved to the area over a year ago from the east coast where we are spoiled with a wide selection of good asian food. I was not disappointed with the flavor! I had the Malai Kofta and garlic naan with a mango lassi and it tasted like how I remembered it back east. Plus, the portion sizes are huge -- I was able to have three meals worth of it, which definitely makes it a bang for your buck.
The service was also very polite and unobstrusive. Definitely going back!

I recently ordered from this restaurant, and I’m so impressed! They have an excellent variety of vegetarian dishes as well as plenty of protein options. I’m pretty sensitive to food, and I could tell everything was made FRESH — perfectly seasoned and delicious. The portion sizes are generous, so you get good value for your money.
I’m picky when it comes to Indian restaurants, but this place has won me over — I’m literally here again waiting for my next order! My only minor complaint is that the bread feels a bit pricey (I’m used to getting around four pieces for $5), but aside from that, good is a 10/10.
