I was in town with my family and learned that our absolute favorite seafood place is permanently closed. During snow season, we spend a ton of time in Tahoe and always make the drive to eat at Morgan's no matter the weather conditions. The food here was always top notch and we are incredibly sad to learn of it's closing. This is a sad loss for the Truckee area!!
Food was amazing! However for 3 tacos it was $17 and some change. For that price I wished they put more fish in the taco. Each taco had 3 small chunks of fish. It was for that reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 5. Staff was nice and helpful.
Morgan’s did not disappoint!! My husband and I ventured away from SLT to find a new place to eat and he found Morgan’s. We had the Mt Whitney plate and upon recommendation of our hostess a lobster roll. The food was served fast and was so fresh. Hot food hot cold food cold. The flavor of the scallops were amazing, they were definitely my favorite of the plate.
