Awful experience. Waited an hour and 15min for a very mediocre salad that had crunchy/rock hard dried cranberries. I had no idea cranberries could get like that. Another 20min for our appetizer of roasted Brussels sprouts in whatever that godawful sauce was. And then another long wait for our main courses. The tajine was basically tomato soup(?) with barley and chick peas. The steak frites was an unseasoned and overcooked flank steak that rivaled the inedibility of the cranberries. Here's an idea: rather than make people wait two hours for their food, cook it for less time. Comped a glass of wine because they knew things were so bad. Should have left. Only stayed and ate the crap set in front of us was because it was late and we were starving after a day on the slopes. Leaving out a lot of details out like the wait place our order and the wait for the check. Never again. A better bet is Wild Pine, near the ice rink.

Nice, quiet atmosphere and easily the best food in Northstar Village. Seating is somewhat limited so reservations are likely required for prime dinner hour, but we can early and were seated straight away. Will definitely return.

Food is delicious! Every dish is well-balanced with a focus on bringing out the best in quality ingredients. We ordered the arancini per other recommendations and it was tasty. The charcuterie board is on point - a little bit of everything from familiar to unique. The Brussels sprouts are roasted and served with a balsamic-tinged sauce. The kale salad has tahini that balances a lemon tang. We split the steak frites and the butternut squash ravioli which were both done well. Service was fast and friendly. We ate an early dinner right after the lifts closed and it was only us plus a couple of other tables. The inside of the restaurant is bright and fresh. It's a tad expensive - appetizers/main/drinks might run ~ $75pp but a good value given the quality of the food.

The hours stated are very fluid. We went to the restaurant after a day of skiing. Sign says they are open 4-9. We showed up at 4:15, the open sign wasn't lit up but an employee was just opening the door. She told us they would be awhile. So we waited another 15 min, still not opened. Not worth the time if they aren't going to respect ours. So we went to Rubicon Pizza and they were grateful for our business. AND, the pizza was amazing!!

The schedule was full and I went to the restaurant very late. Still warmly received our group of 6 people. At the end of the meal, we were the only guests left. The service staff still thoughtfully told us to enjoy our dinner slowly.

Unfriendly staff. Wanted to grab a glass of wine and was turned away by an unfriendly individual. Customer service would go a long way in these situations.

Found this gem while checking out the ice rink. Had the bavette with frites - highly recommend. I dont know much about wine but their recommendations were exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

Just shut the door in my wife and cousin face when they close at 10 not 730. Lost some customers tonight.

I asked for a Malbec, and the staff searched the wall racks of wine and poured us a French Malbec. I've never had a French Malbec, so it was nice to see and experience a variety. My companion is an exclusive meat and potato eater, so imagine my surprise when he ordered not 1 but 2 servings of the butternut squash ravioli! Honestly, the ravioli were so good. I ordered the vegetarian morrocan tagine. Both dishes were delicious but the ravioli...get the ravioli, ijs!

WestCoast Camping

This is one of those places that you'll avoid in all future trips. Portions are too small, prices are too high, and a very limited menu. The service was like in a small town dive bar... the server borderline rude. Might be good to go just for the wine.

This place is amazing! Our first night at NorthStar and we decided to pop in here for dinner. I’m so glad we did! We sat in a cozy spot with a view of the village and the wine. We got a bottle of the Hunt & Harvest Cab (big and juicy red) and started with the charcuterie. Next, we got the Butternut squash ravioli, broken meatball spaghetti and a classic grilled cheese with tomato soup. HOLY COW! Everything had unexpected flavors and it was incredible. Highly recommend stopping in here if you are around!

Great food and service, we ordered to go bc one of our party wasn't feeling well and they were able to accommodate. Mussels and bavette steak were the highlights of the meal, pork shoulder was also very good
