The food is diverse and high quality, making this a no brainer to eat at for lunch or breakfast! One of those local discoveries you cherish. Can't wait to come back. Food Review: Bowl with Coconut Curry lamb ($10.50 + $1) Gluten Free. Served with gharki dal, quinoa, yogurt tahini sauce, fresh cabbage, fattoush and your choice of filling. Good sized bowl with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. 9/10
Hummus + (GF) Curry Chips ($6.50) Has really crunchy chips along with a thick hummus. Nicely done. 8.5/10
Bowl of soup - Tomato Coconut Red Curry ($7.50) includes naan or chips. Very bold flavor and a lot of spice. 8.5/10
Farmers Market Salad ($8 half size) was still a good sized salad with a nice dressing. Greens had some slightly wilted. 8/10
Gyro ($12) Served on house-made naan with sliced lamb, hummus, yogurt tahini sauce, hilbeh, romaine lettuce and fattoush was also top notch. Lots of meat. 8.5/10

Really good food. I had the gyro and my husband had chicken masala tacos. Everything was very flavorful and great value. We also tried the potato pea samosa which was also very good and flaky.

Had lunch here a few times now and the Seasonal Gashi Vegetable Bowl is fantastic. Not very clearly marked on the menu but this bowl is vegan if you ask for NO yogurt tahini sauce. The gharki dal is delicious and combined with the fattoush, veggies and quinoa, it's very very tasty. Vegetables diced up nice and small and they have some great (vegan) sauces to add on top as well. Incredibly tasty and well worth it. Located at the Truckee Tahoe Airport, which anyone can access anytime (no need to be flying in/out etc) with easy parking. Nice views of the surrounding mountains with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Unique atmosphere watching the planes (and love that there is a playground for kids), but most importantly the food is soooo good and the service is amazing. Don’t miss the chocolate chip cookies that are homemade and we were lucky enough to get right out of the oven. I think we are going back tomorrow!
If u ask for breakfast 3 minutes after 11 am you will not get it. Breakfast served until 11 am not one minute after. Not very friendly regarding customer’s request for breakfast.

I flew into Truckee and discovered that they had a restaurant on the field, which is always nice. I stayed over for a couple of extra days and ate here twice. Wonderful people working there, especially the person working the register. It looks like the menu changes a bit on a day-to-day basis. I enjoyed everything I had there. The chicken tikka masala bowl had lots of curry and was very good. I got the naan and hummus, and the hummus was very good, but the bread was more like a pita. The gyro on my second visit was very good! Red Truck is a really nice airport restaurant and I look forward to eating there again!
