Rubicon is probably the best food in the village. They accommodate all food preferences, including vegan and gluten free. The food is fresh and tasty. Although it is pricey.

Came in with our two kids on a Friday afternoon around 6pm and found out there was a 20-30 minute wait with the nicest hostess in the world. He informed us we can order to go and sit outside if we were on a time crunch which we were with our 2 year old son. Put our name down and I thought I would give the to go option a try which may be faster and we could dine outside since the kids had their ski clothes on. Walked to up to the to go counter to find no one there. There was a guy in front of me. Waited for 5 minutes and the nice guy in front offered me to go first. The bartender, a baby face guy with a beard walked up and took my order. After I placed our food order I asked if they have lemonade to which he mumbled something back. I asked do you have fresh squeezed lemonade for my kids at which point he got agitated and turned red in the face picked up a plastic cup sitting on the bar stating it’s a fountain lemonade that’s served in a plastic cup like he was talking to my two year old son. He repeated the order and said it will be about 30 minutes. I was surprised by the wait time given this was a to go order. I asked about the wait time to make sure I didn’t misheard. He responded in a very frustrated and condescending voice saying is this your first time here and how the restaurant is super busy and this and that. This was followed by a red face and angry face baby face asking me if I would like to cancel the order which I was happy to do given my interaction with someone who obviously doesn’t know anything about customer service. We’ve always had pleasant service at Northstar Village over the past two decades but this was something I wasn’t expecting from a family oriented business establishment. Wishing baby face all the best on his future endeavors. I am sure he’ll be on the winning side of life:)

15% service charge for take out. Why, what service is the customer paying for exactly? The answer is of course nothing. $46 for a single pizza, closed the order window immediately. Been doing take out from here for years, no longer until this fee is removed.

I ordered to go so can’t speak for dine in however I have never had a better pizza in my life. I got the chicken bacon bbq pizza and I’m actually sad I’ll likely never get to come here again to eat it again lol.

Food was ok. Pizza was a little thicker than I like but tasted good. Hummus was great. Service was super slow but they were slammed with large crowds. The manager made it up to us and that was really nice of them. Atmosphere is really nice as it's in the village and there's live music and it's a nice place to hang out

Our family came to eat lunch here over the 4th of July weekend. We were seated quickly and the service was awesome. My kids loved their cheese and pepperoni pizzas. My wife and I had the Smoky BBQ chicken pizza and thought it was great. Their take on the paper plane cocktail was also tasty. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting the Northstar area.
