Truly terrible Pick up pizza was absurdly priced for a SMALL pizza listed as large, looked like it was from the frozen section of Costco. If your pizza is going to be $42 with a service charge? Then it should be able to feed 4 people and taste like it wasn’t defrosted

Best place for food in Northstar. Always yummy pizza. Good beer selection. Large outdoor space. Big group seating in the back.
Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh ingredients- salads, pizza, pasta.
Parking: In the summer, park in the lower lot. For pick up, park in the upper circle - 30 min ( ish) for Togo orders.
Winter lots of parking options. Great place to hang out after skiing to let the crowds and traffic leave.
Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the whole family.

5/5 for Rubicon Pizza - I recently visited Rubicon Pizza on a Friday night with an extra large group. Mike and his team went above and beyond to seat everyone in the same area, despite it already being a very busy evening. The food was wonderful (as always) and the staff were incredibly detailed and conscientious of the many individual groups within our party and the complex billing it created. I would highly recommend that anyone on the north side of Lake Tahoe visit Rubicon Pizza at Northstar. Thank you Mike and staff for an amazing evening!

Rubicon Pizza definitely deserves more than five stars. Every bite was a slice of heaven. The crust was nice and crispy, the sauce savory, and the toppings are fresh. The staff is very friendly, management is top notch and goes above and beyond. My kids loved the pizza. I highly recommend Rubicon Pizza.

Maybe what we got was so bad because this was off season and very quiet in the summer compared to the winter, but this was BAD. The only redeeming value that preventing me from giving it just one star was the apple & walnut salad which had to be made fresh. It was good and I would recommend it.
The pizza on the other hand, I would NOT recommend. The crust was both hard and stale and overall tasted like it came out of the frozen food section of the grocery store. The garlic bread came out of the same frozen food section based on the taste.
Also note that on take out orders they charge a 15% mandatory fee and then ask for a tip. It does make some sense because if they had to rely on a tip based on the food quality no one would ever give them 15%, they would be lucky to get 5%.
FOLLOW-UP - you may notice the reply from the restaurant asking me complete an online form, which I did. I'm sure that was to make people believe that they really care. Except I NEVER HEARD from them. Their follow through is as lacking as their food is.
